Aaron's Pov of the Sleepover:

"So why did you move here?" I asked, but immediately regretted it when Bree stopped breathing.

Bree hesitated, "Um my life was pretty bad at my old town." She laughed what sounded  aslike a dry cough. I was going to ask her why, but I knew she would tell me when she was ready, so I just nodded.

She continued, "My boy,- well ex boyfriend, drowned in a lake l..l-ast summer." Before she said something else I brought her closer and grabbed her hand, trying to comfort her.

"People say he forgot how...to.. swim bu-bu-but that makes n-n-no since beca-use he was a great swimmer." She stuttered, a few tears streaming down her cheeks.

"So I-I moved here.. for a fresh start. I-I know it sounds st-stupid but I feel like ev-everywhere I went I heard and saw him," She said, crying softly now. It hurt to see her cry, so I brought her closer. "It's okay, I'm here." I signed.

She eventually fell asleep. She's been through a lot, I know how it feels to lose someone important. I wonder if she would care if I... I thought leaning closer to her. But then I backed away.

Maybe she doesn't want to sleep with me. But she looks comfortable. I eventually decided to sleep with her, I would just wake up before her in the morning.
~~~
Right when I woke up, I realized Bree was gone. Crap, did she leave because I didn't sleep in my bed? But then I heard Bree say, "Good morning!" She was really cheerful today, I noticed. I nodded at her, as if I was saying good morning back."I um made breakfast."She said. That is thoughtful of her. "Thanks Bree." I signed. "Of course. I was kinda bored anyways." She explained. I smiled at her. "Are you okay? Yesterday you fell asleep while we were talking." I asked, raising my eyebrow, curiously.
"Yeah I'm fine."She said, smiling, but it didn't meet her eyes. I nodded at her again, wondering if she was actually okay or not.
"Come on" She said. "Let's eat, the eggs will get cold." I nodded once more and followed her into the kitchen.
~~~
"Thanks for having me Aaron." Bree said, smiling, a real one this time. "Sure. Come over whenever you want. I'll leave the gate open for you." I signed motioning to the gate that she came into the yard with. "Okay thanks again." She said. I nodded and waved her goodbye.

I was watching my tv, when I heard the doorbell. Would could that be? Bree would come right in. I thought while grabbing my white board. I answered, and there was Jack (his cousin). Right when I saw him I closed the door, but Jack said "Wait! A-Aaron! Um, I was wondering if you would want to come with us to a party?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Me and my friends" He filled in. I wrote No, and showed him. "No?" He asked. I took the whiteboard from him. No, thank you. I was getting ready to close the door again.

"Please Aaron? We want to have fun with you." He said, clearly trying not to smirk. Erasing the previous message I wrote "No, go away, just go with your friends." He looked at the message and said "You are my friend." But he didn't sound convincing.

"Friends" Don't make fun of each others differences. I wrote, closing the door. He knocked again. "Aaron! Bree said she wanted you to wang out with us! She wants you to have fun!" What? I re-opened the door. I don't care what Bree thinks, her and I friends Jack, go away." I wrote. He smiled. "So you don't care about her? So you wouldn't mind if I took her for my self?" I tried not to grin. Bree would never want them.
