Screams

Echoes piercing through the night,
Screams of anguish, screams of fright,
Ripping through the silent air,
Telling tales of deep despair.

Screams that come from tortured souls,
Longing for someone to console,
Echoes of pain and misery,
A heart-wrenching symphony.

Screams that come from deepest fears,
Born from wounds that never heal,
Cries for help that go unheard,
Invisible wounds, an unheard word.

But, in those screams, we may find,
A strength to leave our woes behind,
To stand up tall and face our fears,
And fight through our desperate tears.

So, let the screams cease their ring,
A new day shall forever bring,
A ray of light through the darkness,
A song of hope to heal our distress.
