The sun was shining bright,
As I set out on my way,
Little did I know,
An incident would change my day.

Rushing through the streets,
Trying to keep pace,
I crossed a road,
And saw a little girl's face.

Dirty and disheveled,
She looked lost and alone,
My heart went out to her,
And I knew I had to atone.

For all the times I complained,
And grumbled about life,
This little girl taught me,
The value of sacrifice.

Without a second thought,
I took her by the hand,
And led her to safety,
To a place where she could stand.

In that moment so fleeting,
Everything fell into place,
The world became clearer,
And my soul found a new space.

It's funny how life works,
In mysterious little ways,
An incident so simple,
Could change the course of my days.
