Yukimiya and You watching the sunset.
You feel Yukimiya's gaze on you.
you looked at Yukimiya as you tilted your head to the side
"Is something wrong?" You asked looking at him in the eyes
Yukimiya takes off his glasses, revealing his orange eyes. They glint in the sunlight.
They seem to burn through you, as if he were to look at you longer, you would have to look away.
The wind blows against his hair, causing it to mess up.
He looks at you for another moment, then begins to chuckle.
"N-Nothing at all.."
"are you sure?" you asked looked at him doubtful
"Positive!.. I'm just being my usual charismatic self."
Yukimiya's words drip with sarcasm.
He grins mischievously.
Then, he returns his gaze to the sunset.
"The sunset never seems to get old, does it?"
"it does" you said looked back to the sunset
"It's beautiful..." You said
"And it's free as well."
Yukimiya says, his voice soft and full of wonder.
The sun's glow shines on his pale skin, giving it a faint warmth.
Yukimiya takes a deep breath, as if trying to grasp at the feeling that the sunset brings him.
Suddenly, his expression darkens.
"I've never had anything beautiful for free... until now."
you closed your eyes feeling the wind brushes through your face
You stay in silence for a while.
Yukimiya stays silent as well.
You can only hear the sounds of the waves crashing and the birds chirping.
The sun begins to go over the horizon, causing the sky to turn into a bright orange as the light of the day fades.
"The end of the day... it's so peaceful, isn't it?"
"it is, I wish this stays longer" you said opened your eyes looking at the sun slowly fall down as the sky slowly turned into a dark night
You see the last streaks of the sun glow red, then disappear altogether.
The night has finally set.
When you turn your head back towards Yukimiya, you see him looking at you with a smile on his lips.
