Naningkit ang mga mata ko nang mapansing masyadong madilim kumpara sa pwesto ko ang nasa harapan ko. The hallway is dark and gloomy, but I can still make out the furniture and objects that I pass by.
But for some reason, the hallway in front of me... it's just pure darkness, despite the lightning that strikes every now and then. My eyes are adapted to night vision, but I... I can't see anything in front of me.

"Elias!" I softly called his name as I ran towards him.

I felt his gentle touch at my back, mas lalong akong lumapit at sinandal ang katawan ko sa kaniya.
"Rox..." Elias gently patted my back.
I can see myself smiling, before trying to act fragile again. Umangat ang tingin ko sa kaniya para pagtamain ang mga tingin namin.
