The next morning, I got settled in at his hotel in my own suite on the same floor as his; only a handful of staff members knew about us, so we had to keep everything as low profile as possible.
There was a staff meeting every morning, and Yoongi's Manager planned to introduce me there; so before that, he asked me to join him for breakfast so he could prep me for all of this. He gave me a new phone (Samsung btw) and immediately sent me a link with a manual related to the company.
H told me that HQs were aware of the real situation and trusted both of us to handle things as discretely as we could. He also told me that, since I was presented as the crew's therapist, I would have to attend to other staff members if needed; he asked me my normal monthly income, then he added 40% to it, and gave me a debit card were I would receive my weekly pay.
What? I was going to be next to Yoongi AND get paid? This was going perfectly!
He also gave me a hard file with a wide explanation of Korean social conventions, and with indications of how to conduct myself around Yoongi during the day... and alone time. He said that, because of this sudden arrangement, it wouldn't be suspicious for the rest of the staff to see me walking out of Yoongi's suite, or to see us together during the day. However, we still needed to be very discreet by not showing any kind of affection while in public.
He also told me I would have a private space assigned to me to attend to the staff whenever necessary. He gave me the names of the staff members who knew the real reason for my sudden incorporation into the team, so I could rely on them if I needed something "out of the ordinary". Luckily for me, one of them was Yoongi's personal stylist, she was a very nice and discreet person and soon became my friend.
As a personal observation, he kind of warned me that things could get a bit hectic before the concerts, and maybe even boring some days, since I wasn't going to be able to be around Yoongi all the time.
Finally, he told me that he was very glad for Yoongi and me, especially for him because he really liked to see him this happy and "complete". I could tell that he cared for him deeply, he too was part of Yoongi's "family". I was very lucky to have him close, too. I bowed in appreciation to him and dismissed myself from the room.
