"Holy shit." I say aloud, but I meant to say it in my head.

"What?" Peter asks, rushing to my side.

"Tony, he just— he just texted me?"

"What?" Peter repeats just as confused as me.

"I don't know."

"What'd he say?"

"He just said 'Hey kiddo', what does that mean?" I ask as if he'll know. This is so confusing.

"I don't know? Maybe we should go back inside?" Peter suggests.

"I'm scared." I tell him truthfully.

"I'll be by your side the whole time, Diana." He grabs my hand. He knows me so well.

"I'm going to answer him." I tell him. Peter nods. I open the message again.

"Pete, we gotta go inside."

"What? Why?" He asks.

"Tony told me to." I tell him honestly.

"Are you going to be okay?"

"Who knows, Pete."

We go inside together. He's walking close to me. Before we walk into the room, I take a deep breath.

Everyone looks at us, and everyone looks at me.

"What do you want, Tony." I spit.

"I'm sorry for yelling." He says

"No, you aren't," I add smiling.

"I am."

"Then why did you do it."

"I was mad, Diana. I was so mad, that I didn't know." He tells me. He's telling the truth. I can tell.

"You could've asked me. I would have told you everything. I would have told you all everything. I was going to tell Steve and Natasha. Then you came in and made an unnecessary scene and ruined it, Tony." I speak. "Also, all of you are on my dick about a man you know just as well as me. I don't fucking know him in case you haven't noticed. I don't live with him, I've seen him like 14 times within my whole life."

Nobody says anything. Why?

"I was wondering that too," Peter speaks up. "Why did you yell at her as if she's her dad? She's not him, you all would noticed if you paid any attention to her!" He starts raising his voice.
