Chapter Two

The party lasted for three hours, but I only stayed for a hour and a half. I had been eating a lot of food because I hadn't eaten anything for two days. I guess The chefs had made something that didn't agree with me. I told Eric where I was going so he didn't get worried. He tried to go up to the room with me, but I told him to stay and hold down the fort. I walked up to the room, took a shower, got dressed into some comfortable clothes, then I got into bed. I laid there as my stomach had a weird burning sensation, but it wasn't a good sensation. It rose to my throat and I automatically knew that I was about to throw up. I ran to the bathroom and got to the toilet just in time. I sat there for I don't know how long. I just remembered someone coming into the room, cleaning my face up, then picking me up and putting me in the bed. I whimpered in pain as the burning sensation came back. I sat up just before the person left the room and ran back into the bathroom. I discovered the person was Eric when he sighed. He rubbed my back as I lost everything I had ate. I tried to talk and tell Eric to go back to the party.

"The party's is close to being over. I just wanted to check on you. I'm going to ask everyone to leave, then I'm going to put Hayden to bed. after all of that, I will come back to you and help you." He told me.

"Let Drake sleep in the room with Hayden since its his birthday." I told him and he nodded.

"I will. Okay I'll be right back." He said then disappeared. I sat there as I waited and flushed the toilet. I closed the lid and put my head on my arm that rested on top of the toilet lid. My eyelids started to get heavy as I tried not to throw up again. I was breathing deeply when the feeling came back. I started to lose whatever was left in my stomach. I was crying a little bit because I was hurting so bad afterwards. Ten minutes later Eric came back. He saw my tears so he wiped them away.

"Eric, it hurts." I complained as new tears formed. I sighed and this caused something to happen. I started throwing up again. "Why am I so sick?"

"I don't know Love." He said and redid my ponytail. "Do you want to try and go to sleep in the bed?" He asked.

"I'm scared I'm going to throw up." I told him.

"Well then we will keep a bucket near by just in case." He said. I finally nodded so he got a warm cloth and cleaned up my face. After that he picked me up to carry me out of the bathroom. He set me in the bed and covered me up as he got a bucket from somewhere. Thankfully I didn't have to throw up before he got back. "You know the drill Kayla, if you're not better by tomorrow morning we're going to the doctor's office." He told me.

"Okay." I said as my eyes got heavier. Eric got into the bed next to me and wrapped his arm around me. He rubbed my stomach which helped a lot. I finally fell into unconsciousness. When I woke up I didn't feel any better. I looked over at Eric who's eyes were open. "Did you go to sleep?" I asked in a hoarse voice. He shook his head as he sat up.

"Are you feeling better?" He asked. I shook my head as the feeling washed over me again. I groaned in pain as I leaned over the side of the bed and began to throw up. He rubbed my back as he called and made an appointment with the doctor. He got up and changed. I didn't change because I didn't care how looked at this point. Hayden came into the room with Drake, but stopped dead in his tracks when he saw me throwing up.

"Mommy, are you okay?" He asked as he looked up at me with wide emerald green eyes. After I was done throwing up I smiled at him to the best of my capability.

"I am fine I just don't feel well, don't worry baby. I'll be alright." I said as I put my hand on his face. He had tears in his eyes as wrapped his arm around my neck. "Hayden, its alright." I comforted my baby boy as he cried.

"Is everything okay in here?" Eric asked after coming back in from being on the phone with the doctor.

"Yes, Hayden is just worried about me." I explained to Eric. "Hayden, you will be hanging out with Uncle Trevor while Mommy and Daddy go to the doctor's." He nodded and kissed my cheek. Trevor walked into the room right after I said that.

"Thank you for watching him today Trevor." I said as Eric picked me up.

"Its no problem." Trevor stated as we all walked out of the room. "I just want you to go get checked out so you can get better." Trevor stated.

I looked down at Hayden's crying form. "Hayden, don't cry Mommy is going to be okay. Its probably just a stomach virus." I told him. He looked at me confused. "Remember that one time you got really sick and you couldn't get out of bed?" I asked and he nodded. "Okay well that's what is wrong with Mommy." He nodded again as Eric carried me out.

"We'll be back in about an hour, maybe two." Eric told Trevor after we had gotten in the car. Hayden had ran up to my window so I rolled it down. He handed me his favorite stuffed animal then he looked up at me. I rested my hand on his face and smiled at him.

"Hey, I don't want you to worry about me okay. Mommy is going to the doctor's office so they can give me some medicine to help with whatever is wrong with me." I told him he nodded.

"What if I forget about you Mommy. I don't want to forget you while you're gone." He told me as Eric got in the car.

"How would you forget about me?" I asked. I knew he was upset and I knew it was because I never leave him alone apart from bed time, but even still sometimes he get into bed with me and Eric.

"I'm just scared that I will." He told me. I took of my dolphin bracelet and handed it to him.

"Here now when I have to come back for sure and you have something to remember me by." I said as I pulled my hand back.

"Back up Hayden, Daddy has to drive now." Eric said and Hayden backed up to Trevor. Then we pulled off as Hayden waved and yelled that he loved me. "He's really attached to you."

"He's a Mommy's boy for sure." I replied.

Soon I will be setting a schedule for a day that I will post a new chapter of "Married to a Vampire" and a day I will post the new chapter of "Silent Screams." Just wanted to let you know.
