Doctor Bashir is taken to the Conference Room where Damian Decker and his senior officers can discuss the situation. Meanwhile, the USS Intrepid (including a repair ship) warps into the system. It was difficult for the Bonaventure crew to look at the Intrepid through the windows, ever since the incident that took place last year.

Back in 2401, Changelings (A species of liquid-based shapeshifters that ruled the Dominion, and were in collaboration with remnants of the Borg) sent spies to infiltrate Starfleet Command at the highest level. Not only did the Changelings compromise Starfleet, but they also replaced key personnel aboard all active starships. Ships like the Intrepid were sent to hunt down Jean Luc Picard and his crew aboard the USS Titan NCC-80102-A under Captain Liam Shaw. Thankfully, with the help of the fully restored Enterprise-D, Jean Luc Picard and his comrades thwarted both the Borg and the Changelings. After the battle for Earth, the newly promoted Admiral Beverly Crusher (CMO of the USS Enterprise and mother to Wesley Crusher and Jack Crusher) implemented a fleet-wide transporter system to purge all Starfleet Officers of their infection (introduced by the Borg) and helped identify all remaining Changeling infiltrators.

USS Bonaventure - Conference Room
Damian Decker and his officers convene in the conference room to discuss what has transpired.
"Okay, people, we've got a problem," said Damian. He didn't know how to put it into words, so he decided to be blunt.
"Renowned Starfleet Officer, Doctor Julian Bashir, including three Augments are aboard this vessel," when Damian spoke those words, the entire senior staff looked at each other with surprise and concern. Most of them revered Doctor Bashir since he is considered a legend. However, they were scared of the Augments because they didn't know if Jack, Lauren, and Sarina were violent or had a third for conflict like their predecessors. Or the most common of them all, Khan Noonien Singh.
