With Raffi Musiker returning to the Enterprise-G, Damian Decker and his fellow officers embark on a Travel Pod that takes them to Earth Spacedock. While en route, Damian pilots the Shuttle while thinking about Peter Spinelli. The revelation that Peter was still alive haunted him, but Damian ignored it because the mission had to come first. Thay'la Shrol looks at Damian to find a worried expression on his face. She could tell her Captain was bothered by his inner thoughts and wanted to make sure he was alright.

"Are you alright, Captain?" asked Thay'la. Damian looks at his Tactical Officer, wondering if he should tell the truth or brush it off his shoulders as if it didn't matter.

"No I'm not, but I'm choosing to ignore it," replied Damian. Thay'la could understand Damian's position, but actively encouraged Damian not to ignore what was bothering him.

"Look, I know you aren't too keen to talk about it, but I think it's better for you at least get it out of your system," Thay'la places her hand on Damian's shoulder. "Just remember, you're not alone,"

Damian smiles at Thay'la, giving his thanks for Thay'la's counsel.

"I appreciate what you're saying, Thay'la," reassured Damian. "But right now, the mission must come first," Damian resumes piloting the Shuttle, and Thay'la gives her Captain a concerned look.

"Bonaventure to Shuttlecraft Garfield," said the new communications officer aboard the USS Bonaventure. "You are cleared to dock, approaching starboard side torpedo bay,"

"Copy that, Bonaventure, making our final approach now," replied Thay'la Shrol. The group all witness in awe, as their ship comes into view.

The site of the USS Bonaventure took the breath out of Damian just like it did over a year ago

The site of the USS Bonaventure took the breath out of Damian just like it did over a year ago.

"it never gets old, does it?" asked Doctor Goldsmith. Starstruck at the sight of their ship on the outside.

"No, it doesn't," replied Damian, smiling proudly at coming home to his command. "Like the great Admiral McCoy once said, you treat a ship like a lady and she'll always bring you home," Thay'la was also glad to see the Bonaventure again, but didn't verbally express it. The Travel Pod docks and Damian's group disembarks. The Travel Pod was set to automatic pilot and flies back to the refueling port. Damian and his officers enter the ship and are greeted by Teresa Sanchez. She was fully recovered and eager to return to duty.
