Chapter 7

I look at Brody in shock did he really just tell me to pick a room for Sadie and Isaac. Most normal people would curse me out or run away from me after what I just told them.

"I'm not moving in with you Brody." I say stubbornly. He rolls his eyes, "Yes you are Gabriella." He says sending chills down my spine when he says my name.

"Look the only reason I told you my story was too in some way repay you for letting me stay here. That doesn't mean I'm asking for your charity. I can make it by just fine without you, I have been for quite some time now I'd say and before you say it no I will not stop being stubborn and besides you only meet me yesterday how do you no I won't steal you blind or kill something. Most people thing I'm a monster anyway. " I say

To my surprise Brody bust out laughing, what the hell is wrong with this guy. Once he gathers himself up he wips his imaginary tears and says, "First I'm not going to let you live in a shitty apartment or sleep with your apartment Manger or whatever he is. Second your not going to steal from us or kill something as you put it and I only know that because the way you hold my daughter and the way she holds you I no your not that kind of person and third and for most your not a monster and if I personally ever hear someone call you that I'll show them a real monster." He says the last part in a scary voice that is deep and deadly.

I roll my eyes and stand up, "I am full of suprise's Brody." I say and walk out of the kitchen not ready to give Baby Zoe up just yet.

I stare down at the tiny human in my arms and wonder what lies in her future I hope all good things. We are all so innocent and gullible when we are little till the real harsh world slaps you in the face taking away everything that you care about and leaving you with shit.

"I won't let that happen to you Baby Zoe because you have a daddy that will love you forever no matter what. He does seem like a good man only a bet of an Asshole. You got a keeper but don't let him change you can never truly trust anyone." I say as a stray tear falls from my eye.

Small hands wrap around my legs and I look down to see Sadie and Isaac hugging them with sad looks in there eyes.

Isaac looks up at me with tears in him eyes, "GG not every man or person is like Him you have to learn to trust again. I think you should take Mr. Brody's offer and we live here." He says with a sniffle. I set on the couch and let them crawl in my lap.

I look down at Isaac and Sadie, "Yall were listening to our conversation." I asked them. They both give me a innocent smile. I look at Sadie, "What do you think Baby girl." I ask her while running my fingers throw her hair.

"I like it here GG and I feel safer here." She says and her cheeks turn a light pink.

"Okay okay okay so y'all want to stay here but what do you think about Brody and Mrs. Allen." I ask

"We talked about it and." Isaac starts

"We like them but at first I thought Mr. Brody was a Shrek." Sadie finished. I laughed at that, a Shrek some of the things she says.

I look down at Baby Zoe her little fingers wrapped around my finger, "And what do you think Baby Zoe you want us to stay." I ask and wiggle my finger. She giggles and her eyes shine, "I think that's a yes." Sadie says while staring at her tiny self.

"Okay then we stay if Mrs. Allen and Mr. Brody as y'all call him says it's still okay." I say to them and watch as they squill with happiness till Baby Zoe starts to cry.

I get up off the couch, "Y'all can go tell them the news while I go put Baby Zoe to sleep." I say while walking up the stairs to her room. I hear the footsteps running in the direction of the kitchen.

I get to Baby Zoe room and change her then feed her and burp her.

"I think it's nap time for someone." I say as I watch her eyes slowly close.

I go and set in the rocking chair while singing the same lullaby I sang her last night.

Brody's P.O.V

I was about to walk in the living room when I hear Gabriella say to Sadie and Isaac to come and tell my mom and me some news so I go back in the kitchen as they run in with big smiles on there faces.

"We did it Mr. Brody and Mrs. Allen." They say at the same time I chuckle at that.

"Did what kiddos." I ask them.

"Well we over heard you talking to GG." Isaac started

"And when she said no me and Bubba talked about it." Sadie said.

"We then talked to GG and got her to agree and stay here." Isaac finally finished it's just so damn cute these two.

"Sadie called Mr. Brody a Shrek first and that helped." Isaac added which he got a punch in the arm for.

"Bubba your not suppose to tell him that." She stops her foot and crosses her arms.

I was about to reply when I hear the most beautiful thing in the world and everyone got quiet.

I see Sadie and Isaac look at each other and smile then all but run upstairs leaving me and mom confused.

We then get up and follow the angel like voice to Zoey's room where I see Gabriella finishing singing with a sleeping Zoey in her arms plus Sadie and Isaac asleep on the floor. I look at my mother to see her as shocked as me then I glance back at Gabriella to see herself slowly falling asleep.

I softly shut the door still amazed by Gabriella and turn to my mom, "That girl in there is the most perfect women I have ever meet and to think she came from such a horrible past." She says with sad eyes but I have too agree with her.

She then looks at me with a strun, strong, and somewhat of a mean look, "Brody so help me God if you hurt that young lady in that room I will personally throw you out of my house and keep her and Zoey." She says then smile turns and walks away.

That women amazes me I tell you what but, she is right I can't hurt Gabriella I have to protect her and to think I only meet this girl yesterday.
