Mila smiled at Cassie as she sat next to her on the couch. The little girl had climbed up and snuggled into her side, her small hand reaching up to touch Mila's hair.

"Is something wrong, Cassie?" Mila asked gently, sensing the child's hesitation.

Cassie looked up at Mila with big, brown eyes and spoke in a small, hesitant voice. "Mummy?"

Mila's heart swelled with warmth at the word. She knew that Cassie knew she wasn't her real mother, but it still made her feel special that the little girl wanted to call her that. "Yes, sweetie?"

Cassie rested her head back against Mila's chest and let out a contented sigh. "I love you, mummy."

Mila hugged the little girl closer to her, feeling a sense of protectiveness and love for her that she had never felt before. "I love you too, Cassie."

James, Remus, and Sirius smiled at the scene before them, happy that Cassie had found someone else to love and trust. They were both grateful for Mila's presence in their daughter's life.

Remus smiled at Cassie as she crawled into his lap, snuggling close to him. He wrapped his arms around her small frame and held her close, feeling a sense of warmth spread through him. "Hey there, little one," he said, brushing a hand through her soft hair. "What are you up to?"

Cassie looked up at Remus with her big, bright eyes and smiled. "Just wanted to be with you, Moomy," she said, using the nickname she had given him when she was just learning to talk. Remus couldn't help but grin at how she mispronounced his nickname, but he loved it all the same.

"Well, I'm glad you're here," Remus said, holding her tighter. "What do you want to do today?"

Cassie's eyes lit up with excitement. "Can we read a story?" she asked, holding up a book she had brought with her.

"Of course, we can," Remus said, taking the book from her and opening it up. He began to read, his voice soft and gentle as Cassie snuggled closer to him. As they read, Remus couldn't help but feel a deep sense of love for this little girl who had come into his life. He knew being a father wasn't easy, but moments like this made it all worth it.

After they finished the story, Cassie looked up at Remus with a yawn. "I think I'm getting sleepy, Moomy," she said, rubbing her eyes.

Remus smiled and stood up, holding Cassie in his arms. "Well, let's get you to bed then," he said, carrying her to her room. He tucked her in, kissing her forehead and whispering a goodnight before leaving the room.

As he walked back to his room, Remus couldn't help but feel grateful for this little girl who had brought so much joy into his life. He knew being a father wasn't always easy, but moments like this made it all worth it.

James and Archie were sitting in the Gryffindor common room at Hogwarts. James was grading some papers while Archie was playing with his toy broomstick. Suddenly, Archie looked up at James with his big brown eyes and said, "Uncle Prongsie, can we fly on your broomstick?"

James smiled at the little boy. "I don't see why not, as long as we're careful. Let's go to the Quidditch pitch!"

Archie's face lit up with excitement as he followed James out of the common room and towards the pitch. Once they arrived, James helped Archie climb onto his broomstick and held him tightly as they flew into the sky.
