I saw Ella come in with Jerry and they were both smiling "Jerry here was crying to come and see you"
I chuckled "why didn't you come with mummy?" I asked "mummy has work to do" Jerry said I hummed holding him as I placed him on my lap
"Why do you have a gun?" Ella asked
"Oh Bellissima said In case someone comes to attack"
Ella nodded "yeah got to be careful now" I smiled "so when does mummy finish work?" I asked
"I don't know" Jerry said "she didn't say?" I asked "No" something is going on "oh hold on" Ella said walking out on the phone
"Jerry if you tell me the truth I'll buy you anything you want" I said smiling
"Mummy said I can't tell it's a secret" my eyebrows narrowed
Something is definitely going on and if she's not here it can't be work "Jerry what do you want?" I asked
"Puppy a pet puppy" I smiled
"Okay I'll get you a puppy now tell me the truth what's this secret?"
"Bad man hurt grandma and is hurting my family" tears began to pour down his cheeks and I held him close tightening my jaw
These motherfuckers they better have not hurt her "are you alright did someone hurt you?" I asked Jerry
"No mummy hurt them" I hummed
"Mummy was saving you if you saw something bad don't worry okay she's not a bad person"
"Bad? Like the red paint I saw on the floor?"

"Yes like the red paint on the floor" I said
"Many people were asleep on the floor it was scary because they weren't moving and it happened to grandma"
"Grandma was asleep on the floor with red paint" I sighed rubbing his back as he spoke while crying
I saw Ella look through the window then sighed she walked in "I'm guessing he told you" I nodded
"It's Clayton's mafia they wanted Fabian and Jerry" I sighed "why Fabian?" I asked "he's Clayton's first born and Clayton found out so he wanted to take Fabian back and keep him in their Mafia
But then Fabian shot Clayton and now he's dead and Oliver got really pissed off that he aimed the gun at Fabian except...."
"Except what?!" I said hoping this isn't going where I think it is
"Alyssa's dad took Fabian away and when he came back she was dead..."
My heart dropped she's what..."I'm sorry can you repeat that" I said "I'm sorry Lucian"
Jerry began crying a lot and wouldn't stop "t-they hurt mummy" I rubbed his back "we'll get mummy back don't worry I'll do my best Jerry"
He nodded hugging me I looked out the window seeing so many people coming to the emergency room and that's when I saw her
Blood all over her chest I carefully got up "Jerry stay with aunt Ella" he nodded I walked out the room and followed them as they entered the emergency room I held my chest in pain
But didn't care I had to get to her "let me in!" I yelled the nurse came out "Mr King you can't enter-"
"YES I CAN I OWN THIS HOSPITAL LET ME IN!" She became terrified and allowed me to come in helping me walk
I walked in seeing them already operating her carefully removing all the bullets she took
On the chart it said she took about sixteen bullets and two contained poison I sighed and went to sit to watch
Hoping she'd come back as they stitched her up they began to place gel on her chest reviving her I looked at the monitor screen
Of her heartbeat and pulse still nothing it took around four days and she was still gone but I didn't give up because she's a fighter she never backs down
Unfortunately her mother didn't survive and she passed away her family comes to check on her especially Jerry

I held onto her hand as tears poured down my cheeks hoping she'll move even one finger just to give me a sign
I slept by her side ever since she came in even though the doctors and nurses told me to rest as well because of my injury
But I didn't want to leave her side I spent the nights awake so I could see her wake up see the big blue eyes again
Looking down I kept praying she'd wake up
"S-stop c-crying l-like a baby" I paused slowly looking up she was weak but was able to look at me
"W-what happened?" She asked
"W-who are you?" She asked my eyes widened
"Bellissima it's me Lucian the person you despise, we have a kid together do you really not remember please tell me you're joking" I said
And she did a faint smile
"Seems like you're really back" she carefully looked around
"Where's everyone?" She asked "busy..." I said she looked at me "Lucian..what happened?" She asked
"While you were getting operated...your mother passed away" I said her eyes blinked a few times and tears formed in her eyes
"She's dead?" She asked I slowly nodded "and you...and you didn't do anything" she said coughing out blood
"Careful, careful I tried to tell them to bring her back but they tried everything and she wouldn't come back"
Tears poured down her cheeks I went to her and hugged her gently the door swung open "Dad-"
"MUMMY!" I went and picked up Jerry he wanted to hug her but she couldn't even move so I held him up in the air so he could hug her without touching her by accident on her legs
"Hey Jerry" she said coughing
"Mummy grandma is asleep in a big brown box and, and I saw so much red paint"
"Uncle Fabian and grandpa went to hide from bad man uncle Killian is trying to help aunt Kimberly with the house and Aunt Alice got engaged she has a pink ring"
I saw bellissima smile but also look upset "I missed so much"
"Mummy I got a gold star and daddy got me a puppy"
I looked at bellissima and she looked mad "now I have to take care of a child and a puppy" I smiled
"Or we could both just get-"
"No" I sighed
"Jerry I love mummy but she doesn't like me it's unfair right"
Jerry nodded "it's mean" bellissima rolled her eyes "okay Jerry why don't you go and surprise mummy by making something"
Jerry nodded and he left with my mother
