Chapter 20:
Liam's POV:
I was at Harry's house last night when I heard the phone ring.
"Hello?", I asked.
"Harry, a friend of yours wants to tell you something."
"Hey, Zac. What do you have to tell me?", Harry asked his friend.
After a few minutes, Harry started crying and hung up the phone.
"What's wrong, mate?", I asked him.
"Caitlyn has a friend named Jade, and....

"Caitlyn has a friend named Jade, and.... Jade just got cancer.
"Oh my gosh. Caitlyn will be so upset when she finds out.", I said.
"I have an idea. I'm just not going to tell Caitlyn. We won't talk about it, and she'll never know.", Harry replied.
"Harry, are you sure that the best idea is keeping it a secret? Caitlyn will find out eventually.", I told him.
"I'm sure."

Harry got another call from Caitlyn.
"Did you ask Simon about the record deal?", Caitlyn asked.
"Yeah. He said no.", I replied.

Caitlyn's POV:
"Did you ask Simon about the record deal?", I asked Harry.
"Yeah. He said no."
I couldn't believe the words he said.
I was so close to making an album, but Simon just said no. I started crying.
"Caitlyn? Are you okay?"
I ended the call.
"What am I going to do?", I asked myself.
I softly hit the piano keys and began to write another song.
"How many songs have you written?", Brooklyn asked.
"I've only written three songs. I want to write more and make an album, but I don't have a record deal.", I replied.
"Why don't you have one?", she asked me.
"Harry asked Simon to give me a record deal, but Simon said no.", I answered.
"You can't let that stop you! Maybe there is something you can do to make him change his mind.", Brooklyn exclaimed.
"Are you coming up with another crazy idea?", I asked.
"It's not crazy. We can record a demo of one of your songs and slide the disc into the computer. Then Simon will be able to listen to it.", Brooklyn said.
"I don't know. We could get in trouble...", I said.
"Come on, Caitlyn! If you want to acheive your goals, you have to take risks.", she told me.
"Okay... I guess."

Brooklyn's POV:
"Caitlyn, where's the demo?", I asked.
"Hold on!"
Caitlyn and I went to the studio and brought the demo she recorded for "Beautiful."
We crept into 1D's recording room and saw the laptop. This was our chance.
I carefully slid the disc into the computer. Now, Simon could listen to it, and he might give Caitlyn a record deal.
"The plan worked. Now let's get out of here.", I whispered.
"Where do you girls think you're going?", I heard a voice ask.
