A week had passed since Gazel Dwargo had come to our little village! Rimuru has gotten even more comfortable in our village and recently Rimuru has been helping out a lot using those skills he's got! We needed to transport a bunch of wood to finish repairing the wall and Rimuru simply just gathered it all up using one of his Skills and moved it over towards the construction site! Lady Treyni did get pretty mad at Rimuru though since his Skill wiped out an entire acre of trees. He did take dad's statement of "We'd need to take an entire acre of trees to rebuild that wall at this point! HAHAHA" quite literally. It seemed like he could control that quite well but anything else and he didn't know how to control properly. But more importantly, I was watching him and I noticed....
"Is it me or... has Rimuru been acting weirdly lately?" I asked my papa, he didn't seem to know much.
"No, I haven't really noticed much." Papa was clueless, so I left the house for now.
I was with Rimuru nearly every day for the past weeks, Lady Treyni would usually always be there but now there was definitely a change going on with him. He seemed to be moving around aimlessly like he's looking for something... I'm not sure what exactly... he's also been drooling a lot as well... I wondered if he was hungry and when one of our hunting parties came back with food and delivered it to papa but, Rimuru devoured nearly all of it. He profusely apologized afterwards but he still got a scolding from Lady Treyni. I wanted to investigate the situation. Rimuru usually doesn't act like this, he's usually more bubbly and cheerful but now he's... more like a wanderer? Maybe he wants to leave and go back hunting... I need to check with Lady Treyni!
I rushed over to see if Treyni was with Rimuru, the day was hot, pretty hot... summer had just come recently so many of us were playing with water a lot. That little canal that Rimuru accidentally made before was really useful since rain water gathered in it a lot, although it was annoying since that's where the recently rebuilt wall was. I walked around and noticed that Treyni was a bit concerned, did she notice it as well?
"Lady Treyni! Lady Treyni!" I walked up towards Lady Treyni, she seemed lost?
"Ah, little Princess, how are you doing today! Have you seen Rimuru anywhere?" Treyni didn't know where Rimuru was?
"No, but I wanted to talk to you about him!"
"Oh? What is it?" Lady Treyni seemed excited to hear what I had to say!
"Isn't Rimuru acting weird?" Lady Treyni's spirits seemed to die down a lot, did I say something bad towards her?
"I didn't mean it as an insult or anything! I was just trying to mention something and-"
"No no, I thought you had feelings about Rimuru." Feelings?
"What do you mean?"
"A-AH! Nothing, nothing really, W-well what did you notice weird about Rimuru?" Oh! Lady Treyni fixed the conversation! Back on track!
"Rimuru has been wandering around lately right?"
"Yes... it's become a bad habit of his recently since the heat has been going on... every time he wakes up from his [Sleep Mode], he just starts wandering around and he seems exceptionally hungry as well while he's like that. It feels like he became a different kind of child..." Huh... strange...
"Well, is there anything else going on around the forest?" I wanted to see if there was anything that might relate with Rimuru, maybe there's some major event he's reacting to and none of us have noticed...
"No, not anything major that I could think of." Aw... there has to be something!
"Are you sure Lady Treyni? Not anything?" I wanted to push the question, maybe she'll think of something!
