"Oh," Bliss murmured with a soft laugh. "Oh, you do?" She asked curiously.

It made sense.

He'd shown her in countless ways.

The words merely set it in stone.

Connor nodded, loving the curiosity of his sweet love.

She didn't hesitate to speak her mind.

He knew it wasn't because she didn't believe him. It only had to settle.

And she processed outwardly.

"I do, Bliss. I love you." He reassured her with a gentle kiss.

She swooned in his embrace and he swayed her to the music.

"Connor," She tapped his shoulder.

"Hmm?"

She stood on her toes and whispered in his ears. "I love you too,"

She giggled as he swept her off her feet, literally.

His hazel eyes sparkled with joy and adoration.

All for her.

"You're amazing, Bliss." He placed her down carefully and kissed her. "You hold my heart, lovely." He said as if it were a vow.

But it was.

With conviction, he promised that she held his heart.

She was precious. His precious and priceless diamond.

She loved him.

He was forever content with pursuing her until his last day.

It would feel wrong if he didn't spend his life loving Bliss.

God intended it, it was clear as day.

Loving Bliss would be second to his love for Christ.

Now, with more longing than before, he desired to marry her shortly after the Lord spoke His, 'Yes.'

As the days passed, Connor knew it would be harder and harder to love Bliss without forever intact.

He would get through it by the mercies of God.

They were joined at the hip, as Katrina predicted.

Connor had to drag himself away from Bliss last night.

He wanted to stay with her and begin forever, clearly, he couldn't.

Instead, they took advantage of Connor's day off.

Their destination was a surprise for Bliss, as usual.

Not that she minded.

"Hey, what's your middle name?" She asked the handsome perfect man who loved her.

Connor took his eyes off the road for a second to take in Bliss's unmatched beauty.

"You're so beautiful," He stroked her cheek and forced himself to look back at the road.

"Connor," She laughed with warm cheeks. "What's your middle name?"

"Charles,"

"Aww, that's so cool! It's like you were meant to be for your parents," She pinched his cheek, making him laugh.

"You're adorable, lovely. They didn't give me a middle name when I was put into the system. I was Connor. No last name either," He explained to his love.

His love.

Bliss almost Jefferies.

Bliss's heart dropped at his words. "Really? Aww, well it's amazing to know you got a middle and last name when you were adopted," She wanted to hold him and kiss his cheek until she felt better about his sad news. "God covered all the bases,"
