Cara was dropped off right at her flat.

"How did he know my address?" she whispered to herself in disbelief.

Everything felt strange, and she wondered if it was because the drugs were wearing off.

Maybe she had told him where she lived last night and just couldn't remember.

Cara stepped out of the Uber and watched it drive off, feeling a slight sense of unease as she looked around.

She walked up the steps to her apartment. She reached the door, quickly unlocked it, and slipped inside, locking it behind her.

She felt relieved to be home, but the events of the night were still weighing heavily on her mind.

Cara was feeling overwhelmed after her weekend and decided to take a break by visiting her favorite coffee shop on a Monday.

Even though she didn't have any work that day, she had some late assignments she needed to finish for her college professor.

Cara goes to NYU, and she's going to graduate in the spring.

After getting her coffee, she sat in her usual spot at the cafe and tried to focus on her work wearing her earphones.

Suddenly, she felt the shadow of someone standing over her. She looked up from her laptop to see Andy right there, his hands in his pockets.

He was wearing a grey sweater with some casual blue jeans.

"You forgot this, Cara," he said in a kind tone, pulling out one of her bracelets from his pocket.

"How did you find me here?" she asked abruptly, snatching it from his hand.

Andy shrugged, "I was just walking down the block and saw you from the window outside."

He looked down at her work.

"What are you studying? Vampirism?" he smirked, sitting down next to her.

Cara rolled her eyes. "I have better things to do, like anthropology," she said, pointing to her computer screen, showing him her slideshow presentation.

He squinted his eyes and looked at it closely. Cara watched him as he looked over her work.

"What happened last night? Did we-"

"No, we didn't," Andy assured her with a chuckle.

He caught her staring and smiled. Cara felt embarrassed but ignored his comment.

"Sorry if I'm disrupting you, Cara," Andy confessed, his voice low and apologetic.

Cara looked back at her laptop, her eyes lingering on the screen for a moment before turning to face him.

"It's fine," she replied softly, her mind wandering back to the night before.

As she replayed the events in her head, Andy's next words caused her to snap back to reality.

"If I did, however, you would've tasted so good," he added with a smirk, pressing his leg against hers under the table.

Cara felt a shiver run down her spine, unsure of how to respond to his teasing.

She couldn't help but wonder if she would've been the best blood he's ever had.

Despite the unsettling thought, she couldn't help but find herself drawn to his obsession with her.
