Chapter 12

   Walking out of the bedroom, you see illumi standing in the same spot, waiting.

although, you noticed he had changed his clothes. his previous clothes were folded up on the couch. you cringed thinking of him changing, revealed in the living room.

illumi was wearing a normal black tuxedo which complemented his hair perfectly and the buttons of his shirt were undone a bit. illumi watched blankly as your eyes trailed over him

illumi himself was terrifying, yes, but his aura was far worse. This was something you already knew, although you only now entirely realized

It felt weird, knowing that this was killuas older brother. If you were scared of him, you couldn't imagine what killua felt

What would he do if you were to fail this mission with him? Kill you? Torment you? Or use you for something else?

You still had no real idea of what exactly it was that he wanted you to do for him anyway. All you knew was that you were to distract someone. But who? What? Where?

You stood in front of illumi while he looked you up and down. his stare made you uncomfortable, there was no doubt about that.

You could never tell what he was thinking. He made you wonder if he was even a real person

"Ready?" he asked raising his eyebrows

"Sure" you replied

"Let's go, I'll explain the mission on the way," he said opening the door

walking out of the apartment, you made sure to lock the door.

the trip down to the lobby in the elevator was awkward. He stood in silence staring at you, not trying to be secretive about it

you thought it'd be better to just pretend you didn't notice, but it just made it worse.

"can I help you?" you snapped

"you are helping me y/n" He tilted his head

what?

you opened your mouth to make another snarky comment, but the elevator opened once again.

There was a limo waiting outside of heavens arena, driven by what you were assuming was a butler of illumis

Illumi got in first, and you followed behind.

You sat across from him in the limo. There was plenty of space, along with a minibar and TV on both the left and right.

illumi switched the television on, and the limo pulled into the route.

"So," illumi started "I've been assigned by a client to kill a high mafia leader" He continued

"There will be an auction taking place in York New. About 2 months from now. My client wants him dead so they won't have to bid against him, knowing he'd most likely win. Petty you could say."

He went on "Fortunately, my client's enemy is hosting a gathering at one of his mansions tonight. there will be plenty of people. This is a mafia gathering, so you will notice that there are not many women, be aware that eyes will be on you."
