The girl in the box shot up as if she awoke from a deep sleep. Her eyes scanned the black surroundings and fear was gripping her mind.
She couldn't remember anything
Except for her name
Ashley
The thing she was riding in came to a halt and she almost stumbled forward. Snatches of conversation could be heard but her brain couldn't process what the people were saying.
And then sunlight flooded the thing she was riding in and her eyes had trouble adjusting for a moment. When her vision cleared, she could see that there were plenty of boys staring at her.
What do they want?! She thought and as if on instinct she managed to climb up just as a boy with a British accent said "Its a gi- OY Where are you going shank?!"
Her feet had minds of their own as it lead her to some unfamiliar place. She heard movement behind her but she didn't stop
Pretty soon it was gone
She sat down on the forest floor,panting
She didn't even know she could run that far
"Hey"
The girl immediately stood up and punched the one who spoke
"Shuck! What was that for?!"
She blinked a few times before realizing she hit an Asian boy. She assumed it was the one who was chasing her earlier
"You know for a girl you could run fast, and hit hard" the boy commented as he held his bruised lip
"Oh jeez I'm so sorry I just-"
"Reacted on instinct yes I know" the boy said while giving her half a smile "Name's Minho by the way" he said and offered her his hand
"I'm...Ashley" she replied as she took the boy's warm hands and shook it with her cold ones
"Damn your hand is so cold, are you alright?" He asked, worry in his voice
The girl shrugged "I want to ask a million questions but I would just stay quiet because I have a feeling you won't answer them"
Minho chuckled as he placed an arm around the girl's shoulders
"Right you are milady" he said
"Now let's get you back before they think I raped you"
