After retiring from cricket, Imran turned his attention to philanthropy and social work. He founded the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in memory of his mother, who died of cancer. The hospital provides free treatment to underprivileged cancer patients and has become a symbol of hope for many in Pakistan.
Imran's personal life has also been the subject of much media attention. He was married to Jemima Goldsmith, a British socialite, from 1995 to 2004. The couple has two sons, Sulaiman and Kasim. Imran also has a daughter, Tyrian, from a previous relationship.
Imran's marriage to Jemima was the subject of much scrutiny, as the couple came from very different backgrounds and cultures. Despite this, they remained married for nearly a decade before eventually divorcing in 2004. Imran has since remarried, tying the knot with British-Pakistani journalist Reham Khan in 2015. However, their marriage was short-lived and ended in divorce just ten months later
