Mahir arrived home after another hectic day at work,as soon as he reached the living room he saw Bela sitting on a single sofa on the left side while her family which included her parents, grandparents,Zoya di and Ritik sat on the right side,it seemed they had a disagreement and so Bela sat away from them sporting a stubborn look.

Everyone saw him enter and the Singhaniya's sighed in relief while Bela also had a bright smile on her face.Now he was sure there was something and they all wanted him to be the mediator.He sighed,no matter what he had to be on his wife's side so he moved towards Bela and sat beside her.

A servant brought a glass of water for Mahir and he drank it, waiting for either of the party to say something.Finally her mother in law broke the silence and said.

"Mahir beta,tum hi samjhao ab iss ziddi ladki ko"She said and Bela again gave them a stubborn look.

"Kya hua h??"He finally asked.

"Dekh na puttar,2 baje se zidd kr rahi h ki isse chai peeni h,tune mana kiya h isse itni chai peene se pr yeh h ki maanti hi nhi,ek dam zidd pakad kr beth hi gayi h,kisi ki nhi sunn rahi h"Her dadi said and as soon as she finished saying it,Mahir laughed out loudly,he couldn't even dream they all would be fighting for a cup of tea.

"Tu hass raha h???puttar samjha isse zara"dadi said.

"Aap log khud ki baatein sunenge na toh khud bhi hass padenge,2 baje se chai ke liye jhagad rahe h??4 ghante ho gaye h uss baat ko"Mahir said and chuckled at the end.

"Toh yeh baat kaha Maan rahi h hamari??2 baje se issi baat ko lekr bethi h"Zoya di said.

"Toh ismein kya ho gaya???sirf chai hi maangi thi meine inse woh bhi ek cup,woh bhi nhi de rahe h mujhe yeh sab Mahirji,upar se mujhe hi suna rahe h"Bela said in her defence.

"Toh aapne chai di nhi na usse?"Mahir again asked his in laws.

"Di na, ek cup de di thodi si,pr yeh h ki zidd pakad kr bethi h ki mujhe bada cup bharke hi chai chaiye "Her mother said.

"Bela ab yeh toh galat h,di na unhone chai"Mahir said turning to his wife now.

"Ek cup tha bhi nhi woh,sirf 2 sips the"Bela retorted.

"Arre toh doctor ne mana kiya h zyada chai peene se"Her mother said.

"Mujhe nhi pata mujhe chai peeni h bas"Bela said.

"Dekho tumhare gharwale kese h??chai bhi nhi pila sakte h tumhe,isse acchi khatirdaari toh hamare ghar pr hoti tumhari"Mahir said teasing her.

"Tum usse samjhane ke bajay bhadka rahe ho hamare khilaf"Zoya accused him.

"Arre mein toh fact bata raha hu,aap log sab meri wife ko ek cup chai bhi nhi pila sakte.....kya yrrr.....aur mein isko aap sabke hawale chodkr gaya tha"Mahir said trying to be fake disappointed.

"Hayeee tujhe bhi yehi mauka mila h kya mazak krne ka??"Dadi said.

"Aap log bhi toh ek chai ke liye jhagad rahe h"Mahir said again laughing.

"Iss ladke ka kuch nhi ho sakta"Zoya di said.

"Accha thik h thik h,Bela tumhe chai de di na,ab aur nhi mil sakti h,ek din mein 2 baar is enough "Mahir said now turning serious.

"Mahirji 2 sip thi woh sirf"Bela whined about it and he sighed.

"Bela please samjho,zyada chai acchi nhi hoti h,usmein caffeine hota h,plus tum already subah ko pee chuki ho"Mahir said but she wasn't in a mood to listen.

"Ek kaam kijiye,room mein ek cup chai bhijwa dijiye... chalo Bela tum wahi chai pee Lena,yaha tumhe koi chai peene nhi Dene wala h"Mahir said and Bela nodded.
