SHOOTING BACK MY THIRD GLASS OF WHISKEY, I FELT THE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE BURN my throat. I grimaced at the sensation as I felt the music beating in my head, the sound of Nico's, my best-friends,
voice ringing in my head. Everything suddenly felt so loud.
"Mate! Are you even listening to anything I'm saying?"
Nico's voice caused me to turn my attention towards him, no longer the burning feeling in my throat. 
"Hm? Yeah, yeah. I'm listening."
Nico and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. Our mothers were friends in high school. They got married a week apart, planned to have children at the same time, those children being me and the Italian besides me. Nico was granted being a week older than me — which he certainly takes advantaged of.
Nico raised a brow at my uncertainty. "Really? What did I just say then?"
Shit. 
"Urm...you was talking about the girl you hook up with at your office?" I guessed.
The Italian shot be a deadpanned look. "Firstly, you should start listening to your olders—"
There it was. "By a week."
"Yeah, whatever. Secondly, I'm not hooking up with Maggie anymore. I'm hooking up with Janice from the office," he told me wiggling his brows. "Thirdly, I actually said look at that fine beauty on the stage."
Uninterested I swivelled round on my stool at the bar, turning my gaze to the stage. Nico had dragged me to the club, claiming "I do not get laid enough for how attractive I was" was his exact words. I was certainly not interested on how 'fine this beauty' was on the stage if it weren't my Cecelia.  
Except I saw the girl on the stage and I was interested. 
It was my Cecelia.
The French girl I had grown attracted to was wearing only a sparking pink thong with matching triangular bra. Only.
"What the fuck."
Nico took my words the wrong way as he jumped up in excitement, "I know right! She's so fucking hot. I've never seen her round. Might have to pay extra to take her round the back—"
