Johnny's help is the one I need the least of right now, he thinks to himself bitterly, instead he smiles to the older, "Of course, thanks hyung."

"Do you think Hyunjin will go after you?" Donghyuck asks, munching on a chip.

"Hwang Hyunjin? Why would he want to go after Yuta-hyung?" Jungwoo asks, glancing between Donghyuck and Yuta, who groaned and face fell into his hands.

"Not Hwang Hyunjin, Kim Hyunjin!" Donghyuck corrected the older. "She's an alpha in Sooyoung's friend group."

"And she's known for being protective of her friends, especially her omega friends." Taeyong explained farther, patting Yuta's back.

Taking a sip of his soda, "It's a shocker that she hasn't had her way with Sicheng." Taeil shrugged.

"It's because Haseul confronted him in the middle of campus and slapped him already," Renjun stated from beside Donghyuck. "If she didn't, Hyunjin would've."

"How do you know?" Taeil asks, brow raised in question.

"Hyunjin's in my calculus class," the omega shrugged. "I overheard her and her friend raving about what Haseul did that day." Renjun took a bite of his noddles. "It doesn't seem like she'll do anything," the others at the table nodded. "but,"

"'but' what?" Yuta asked, lifting his head from his hands, peering through his fingers.

"They have a friend in your university, she's a beta, I think her names like Jiwoo, but I heard that she's quite... confrontational, and stands up for what she believes in... that said, she might go after you." Renjun warned, and Yuta groaned.

Doyoung pat Yuta on the back, "Hey, don't worry, she hasn't tried going after you, so maybe she won't." He tried to reassured.

"Maybe 'cause I haven't left the apartment since like, two hours ago! She just hasn't had time to find me!" He exclaimed. He paused and took a deep breath. Come on, think positively, after all this shit something bad like someone hunting me down isn't going to happen, right? "Maybe she won't come for me, yeah, she's probably busy and won't be coming for me."

"YAH! NAKAMOTO YUTA!"

To say Yuta jumped ten feet in the air would only be a slight exaggeration.

Fear shocked through him, everyone turn towards the call of his name, and Yuta more or less melted into his chair with a sigh of relief once he caught sight of Ten and Sicheng at the entrance of the café they were eating at, the older of the two waving at him.

"Geez, for a second I thought that Jiwoo girl was here for your soul..." Taeyong mattered under his breath, hand over his heart.

"Do you mind if we eat with you guys?" Ten smiled at them. "Since our friends here are now forever linked together, I think it's about time we become friends." From half behind Ten, Sicheng looked as if he wasn't quite fond of joining them.

"The more the merrier." Jungwoo said gleefully, waving them over.

"Thanks!" Ten said, and suddenly grabbed Sicheng by the shoulder, startling the Chinese who looked at him as if he was crazy. "I'll go order some food for us, why don't you sit down? Preferable by Yuta?" And pushed him towards them.

"Wh- Ten what the hell-" the Thai left before he could argue. Sicheng turned back towards the table awkwardly, bowing his head in greeting, and Doyoung got up from beside Yuta.

"I'll sit next to Taeyong." The younger smiled as he got up, moving to sit in the empty seat beside the alpha.

Sicheng quietly said thanks as he stiffly sat down between Yuta and Jungwoo. He glanced to his left towards Yuta, only to find the Japanese already looking at him, stare heavy. "Is something up?"

"Mm, no... just thought you guy were Jiwoo coming for my soul..." Yuta said somewhat out of it.

Sicheng blinked at him with a confused look. "What...?"

"Ignore him," Taeyong smacked Yuta lightly on the back of the head, raising an eyebrow when he noticed the Chinese's eyes jumped to the action. "We heard Yuta stayed with you for the night and that's why we couldn't find him, you doing okay Sicheng?" He asked. If everything was stressing out Yuta —even if he didn't let it show much— it'd surely be bothering Sicheng as well.

Sicheng's left arm moved to laid across the back of Yuta's chair, a few of the others at the table glancing at it. "Yeah, I'm doing already, probably now any better or worse that Yuta is I'd believe."

They both answered the same... saying they're fine, Taeyong thought. He hummed, "Well, just like I told Yuta, if you need help, let us know. I hope we can become friends, and we can clear up some past misunderstandings."

Both Yuta and Sicheng's eyes widen a bit at the Korean's words. To Sicheng, Taeyong seemed as if he'd be the least welcoming to him, seeing as he's closest to Yuta, has seen them fight, seen what happened at the hospital.

"Yeah," they turned to look towards Taeil who spoke up. "I'm not going to speak for all of us, and I won't lie, I'm not the biggest fan of you because of all of the fighting and drama you two have been the cause of, mostly because I've only seen how you've hurt Yuta, my friend; but I'm hoping to get to know you better, seeing as you'll be around a lot more." He looked between the two alphas.

Being in such close proximity and their bond slowly healing, Yuta could quietly feel some of Sicheng's emotions, a faint wave of shame and guilt passing through him. Looking around the table, he saw the majority of his friends nodding at the eldest's words. That's probably how Sicheng's friends feel about me... I don't blame them, what we did to each other, our friends having to watch us act that way... yeah, I'll accept it.

"I got our food~" the solemn tension was broken as Ten cheerfully made his way to the table, setting a bowl of bibimbop in front of Sicheng, pulling a chair from a nearby empty table and sat at the end of the table between Jaehyun and Taeil. Noticing the tense mood, he decided to lighten the mood, if only to ease a bit of burden off Yuta and Sicheng's shoulder. "So, what are you guys majoring in? I'm in dance and international business..."

Sorry it's taken nearly a month for this chapter 😞

I'm on spring break, and i thought I'd be able to write a lot more, but over the last few days I've taken to playing game pigeon games with a friend for hours, usual at the time I would write. Sorry it's taken so long and for procrastinating

On a happier note, y'all excited for Yuta's High & Low movie comes out on Netflix on Saturday :D I'm excited, my bestie is coming over to mine so we can watch it together

It's a live action adaptation of the manga "Play It Cool, Guys" which is also adapted to an anime, and because I could, I read all of the chapters available that I could find online last night (I think I read like 27 chapters?) and read all of the available anime episodes (23 episodes) and aaahhhhhhh it's adorable and I loved it, the character Yuta is playing is my favorite, so I'm excited to see who he plays him!
