Desperate times

Two weeks after ...

Tae came to clinic for regular checkup, but this time Kai accompanied him as doctor strictly told Tae to bring Kai. Doctor called them for visit after looking at the test reports. So Tae is little nervous about his visit this time.

" Mr.. and Mrs.. Kim.. This is not regular doctor visit.. I've called you to inform some medical difficulties in this pregnancy... You need to take some important decisions in this stage.. " Doctor said..

" What's wrong doctor?? " Taehyung asked...

" You are really weak to carry this baby... This is the end of fourth month and your morning sickness is still not settling...its normal in some case but you are getting weak every month... It's time to choose a life... It's either mother or baby... "

" What's there to choose its baby... Don't worry I'm strong... I can do it... " Tae confidently said, while Kai is totally shocked..

" You can cheer yourself... That's good but test reports says you won't survive this pregnancy... " Doctor said

" Is there any other choice doctor?! " Kai asked concerned..

" There is one more... We can wait for seventh months and deliver the baby pre term.. But no way Taehyung can carry the pregnancy...full term... His body won't support the baby... But if you ask me... I will say terminate this pregnancy...

We can strengthen his uterus with some medications and proper diet and you both can try again after six months... Now Tae is underweight and the baby is gaining much of weight.. Making this pregnancy very difficult.. "

" No doctor... Please... I'll eat a lot and gain weight... Please save my baby... Don't talk about terminating him please... "

" You don't have to plead me dear.. It's not in my hands.. It's not like you can't bare a child next rime... You both will be blessed with another child!! "

" No... I want this baby to survive no matter what... Pre term or on my death... I want this baby come to this world... I don't want any other child... I don't care even if you sterilize me after this baby... I want my Gyu to survive... " Tae stubbornly yelled which made Kai beyond furious but he controlled..

" Doctor... Can we try the pre term thing you said??!! " Kai softly asked..

" Fine!! If that's what you both wish for... But I can't guarantee the child will survive in incubator... "

" He is a fighter... and as you said... He is gaining weight... He will survive.. " Tae said confidently but internally he is panicking..

" Fine with me dear!! Just take care of yourself... Don't over eat.... Eat enough in regular intervals... I'll prescribe you some medicines.. Eat them regularly..
Mr. Kim take care of him... If there is any change in your opinion after you discuss this at home... Bring Tae after two days..."

" Ok doctor!! I will... Thank you.. "

Both Tae and Kai reached home after doctor's appointment by walk. They didn't speak much about anything. Tae bought lots and lots of fruits and vegetables on his way. Kai carried them as Tae couldn't walk..

At home...

" Taehyung!! Listen to me... I have nothing against your baby... But if it is life threatening... It's a good idea to te.. " Kai said and interrupted by Tae

" Don't finish your words... You have no right to say this.... He is not your child.. " Tae yelled at him...

" I know that... You don't have to remind me all the time"
