yes, it is weird. i found it weird as well, but honestly this book (+ the continuations that can be found in my profile) are a lot of fun. it's fun for me to write and (from what i've been told) fun for my current readers to read. if this isn't your cup of tea, then please leave quietly
another warning is that i personally regret writing a few things because of how cringey/unnecessary they are but let's try to move on from that
this book is also structured where the chapters are separated into categories, so the timeline is a bit off. some things mentioned in earlier chapters will be explained a whole lot later and vice versa. book two and so forth has a different flow and is in order of time of update
