after my naruto story got deleted I think I'm gonna do something different. I'm gonna try some one shots here
heads up, they will most likely result in some 18+ so just to warn you
You start your daily routine with breakfast, eggs, bacon, and seasoned potatoes along with exercise and finally end with a shower. Nothing too exciting, you make money working as a security guard at night so you sleep in the morning. You're off work on Sunday so you start to head out when a weird message is suddenly on your computer.
Y/n: come to the missions meet night club? ... If you're gonna hack something to give me a message you could have just hacked my phone :/
You head out and get some stuff to eat and go about your day, you take out your phone after a run and check wattpad for updates.
After you get ready for another run you go further then usual and you end up seeing some kids shatter a bottle only for the pieces to be suspended in mid air then form back together.
Y/n: ok that's fuckin weird
You check the time and decide to head over to the club they mentioned on your old MAC monitor at your house. Not sure why you even had that old relic still...but then you realized something...standing here.
Y/n: wait...that monitor wasn't plugged in...
You go into the club and are greeted by some weird girl in a red dress.
Red: y/n isn't it?
Y/n: you're the one who hacked my stuff?
Red: we've been watching you for a while, you spend your days walking through those same halls, mundane task day in...day out...you've always had the sense that something isn't right
You head to the back with her and you're accompanied with a few people in a room.

Morpheus: welcome young y/n We've been expecting you
Y/n: really? What for
Morpheus: it's simple...I've come to offer you...the truth That everything you think you know...is false
Y/n: the truth I want to know is why you weirdos keep pausing your speeches at random times
Morpheus: the place you think is reality, it's a computer simulation, none of it is actually real I can show you the truth, but I can't force you
Y/n: let's say I believe you, why should I care? You have a way out?
Morpheus: I was so hoping you'd ask
She takes out two pills.
Morpheus: take the blue pill and you'll wake up in your bed, believing whatever you want to believe Take the red pill, and I show you the truth
Y/n: mhm...and if I just walk out of here?
Morpheus: that is an option too, but we won't be here when you come back
