Chapter 35 - "trust issues"

I sigh
"Dylan... I have a class, I have to go" I say
"Please skip it, I have a class too, I wanna talk with you" Dylan grabs my hand
"But I don't wanna talk with you, leave me."
"Daisy..."
"actually, I'm glad I know you're gonna be in a relationship with Lexi soon, atleast I know whom I 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻'𝘁 like" I cross my arms
"I still don't know yet if I'm gonna be with her or not"
"you don't 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 yet? atleast dont play with her. I wasted my time on stupid ass things" I roll my eyes
"those weren't stupid things, atleast not for me. And I'm not playing with her, I even made it clear to her that I wasn't ready"
"I hate this.."
"why don't you ask me why I'm not ready?"
"why aren't you ready, Dylan?" I say with a shrug
"Because of you, I'm starting to like you Daisy.."
I stare at him for a moment
"still expect me to believe that?" I say
"Never asked you to believe me. I just told you the reason"
I sigh
"whatever happens, lets just stay as close as we are Daisy... forever.."

I nod and he hugs me tightly.
"there's something special about you" he says
"I know" I reply

After half an hour, our assignment is finally completed, didn't think it would be done because Dylan and me were talking 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘁 rather than doing our work,
"are you playing basketball today?" I ask Dylan
"yep" he replies
"can I come? I really enjoy it watching you guys play"
"well, I'm not really allowed to bring anyone"
"oh ok then never mind it"
"no, you're coming, I don't care about rules when it's about you, after all they are my homies, so they won't mind"
