Chapter 19 - "he likes whom?!"

Now it's me, Lexi and Dylan sitting in the library.

"so what kind of series we are gonna go for?" Lexi asks,
"how about an anime series?" Dylan asks,
"yes! anime series perfect!" Lexi says,
𝘕𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘮 𝘪𝘴, 𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘮𝘦-
"uhm could we go for something else?" I ask,
"gurrrlll you better be joking, his idea is the best!" Lexi says, 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘺𝘴 𝘮𝘦.
"but I don't watch anime-" I say,
"wait what the hell?! you don't watch anime?!" Lexi says, 𝘴𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘴.
"did I not make it clear?" I say while rolling my eyes.
"it's fine, we can go for something else" Dylan says,
"is this gonna take long?" I ask, because I'm really annoyed by the presence of Lexi right now,
"mhm, I'll go get some coffee for us" he says,
𝘰𝘩 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘵- 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘭𝘦𝘹𝘪-
"perfect" Lexi says,

Dylan gets up and leaves.

There's an awkward silence between me and Lexi for 2 minutes.

"where is Hannah?" Lexi asks, breaking the peace I had.
"She went to another city, for some family issues, I don't know where" I tell her,
"are Hannah and Dylan still dating? they don't really seem like a couple" she says,

I don't really wanna have this conversation with her, but I do wanna tell her that she's not gonna get any chances with Dylan even if he's single.

"well they are, but Dylan doesn't seem too loyal towards her, he even flirts with me sometimes, so they might be having some relationship problems." I say,
"oh really? maybe he's not interested in her anymore, because the way he talks with me, seems like he likes me" she says, 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘐'𝘮 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯

The way Dylan talks with every girl, it will make anyone think that he likes her, so I doubt that Dylan might be actually interested in her.

"you think so?" I ask her,
"I believe so" she says, 𝘐 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘋𝘺𝘭𝘢𝘯 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘳.
"we should ask him what's going on with him and Hannah" she says, I nod.
