Chapter 22 - "a little talk with him about it"

"as you know that i was paired up with 2 guys, whom we never even heard about, Steve and Daniel" Liz says,
"mhm yeah, what about them?" I ask,
"Daniel asked me today the name of the girl with 'curly hair', which is Lexi-" I stop her before she could complete what she says saying and I ask,"oh god does he like her?!"
"well yeah it seems like he does" she says,
"please make Lexi fall in love with Daniel" I say,
"I can do nothing- and it seems like she's already in love with Dylan sooo you know, it's too late"
"ughhhh I fucking hate this situation!" I say with a groan,
"why did you have to fall for a guy who has a gf?"
"it's not like I'm even stealing him! I'm not doing anything! feelings can always go away- i do not decide with whom i want to fall in love with, it happened and i think it's okay as long as no one's getting hurt. I'll just peacefully adore him everyday without anyone knowing." I say while putting my hands up,
"it's fine... I understand you, just go clear it out tomorrow" she says and gives me a hug that I needed.

I'm currently at school, Liz is discussing about her assignment with her partners, and I'm roaming around finding Dylan, I finally see him standing near his locker all alone, so I go near him.

"oh hey daisy" he says with a sweet smile, 𝘪𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘪𝘮
"hi! are we gonna work on our assignment today?" I ask,
"I don't know, depends, is that all you wanted to ask?"
"mhm yeah, also...how do you make girls fall for you that easily?" I ask, hoping that I won't regret asking that,
"are you talking about Lexi?" he asks, 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘐 𝘨𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘓𝘦𝘹𝘪 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘮, 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘐 𝘨𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘢 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮.
I nod.
"well you didn't fall for me yet" he says,
Hell I wanted to scream and tell him that 𝗜 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗗𝘆𝗹𝗮𝗻, 𝗜 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂.
But instead I just reply with a simple "hm yeah"
"good to know, see ya" he says and leaves. 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘪𝘳𝘥.
