Platinum: These specialty forms are gifted as either a highlight of a Guest's passion, or a power to overcome their traumas. The image above is a Kleavor, an ancient, tan mantis with axes for arms, and jagged rocks around its torso and head. I call them Lumberjack, though they won't last long in the snow.

Dex: And this is their descendant, Wendy. She's a Shiny Scyther.

Platinum: Anyways, in the sense of power, one example which comes to mind is Benevolent Blaziken. He resembles the "Rising Phoenix" trait of his host, Kazama Jin.

Dex: Should I bring out the spoiler alert?

Platinum: Sure, I may go off on a tangent. He was raised in the woods with his mother. An ancient entity intrudes them, taking his mother's life. He contacts the only relative he knows of, his grandfather, who routinely beats him for four years as "training." The grandfather then ropes him into a tournament to exploit a hidden power in order to lure the ancient entity. He defeats the entity, his grandfather calls him an abomination, and shoots him. He returns a changed being, attacking anyone who stands in his way, flies off into the moon. Here's the grandfather's alter.

Dex: Incineroar Seth?

Platinum: Not Seth, Mishima. Seth is the default, Mishima's the pussy...cat. Fighting beats Dark, so he's at a disadvantage against Benevolent. Besides, he deserved the Punishment after what he put his kin through.

Dex: Wouldn't it make more sense to place him as a Shiny?

Platinum: Saving that for Jinpachi, the great-grandfather. It suits his beard. Mishima line's always been weird.

"Scyther?"

Platinum: Oh, just someone the Calendar Keepers picked up, and got drawn in to the Miracle Clan, too. We're just trying to make them feel welcome, Wendy.

"Ther."

Platinum: We aren't monetizing anything, but I admire your thinking.

Dex: *reviews their notes* Veto the Ursaluna, scares the dogs. Ice-typing, adaptation. Weavile, intimidating, but can't cut wood. Hisuian Arcanine, loyal and insulation.
