54- 𝐀𝐥𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚

"Because I like you..."

Taehyung's words were like seven trumpets ringing all together in Jimin's ears announcing the Great Tribulation, Jimin halted within his movements, rigid like a statue, he could see all the misery they brought to him the last time they came out of the venomous mouth striking his heart with a killing poison that runs through his veins with a sickening desire of taming him  

"I like you in a way I never liked anyone"

Taehyung whispered in his honey-sweet voice dripping with the fluid of fresh flowers his true emotions collected from the field of his feelings but they were like the venom strike of a Scorpio to Jimin who flinch back in fear staring widely at the ravenette who had his lower lip stuck between his teeth in nervousness "w-what?" Jimin whispered gulping down as he steps back from the danger but Taehyung's grip held him near, fear lingering at the back of his head and horror licking his nape, his blood rushed south, draining his face of all colors

the taller's hand that was wrapped around jimin's wrist slipped down to embrace the other's palm stepping closer toward the boy who was trembling like a little hummingbird under the fierce gaze of the voracious hornet, "I like you as the stars like the moon" Taehyung mumbles as his gaze fall upon their intertwine hands, his hand were tight around Jimin's whose palm was laying lose against his' not returning the sweet gesture and then up at the aghast boy's face filled with horror and terror, he licks his lips smiling through the pain as he heard the shattering of his heart echoes in his ears

understanding what the horror on Jimin's face really meant, it was all obvious, he was a monster that must hurt this angel to make him frightened this much with just his simple confession, a tear of realization slipped from his eyes falling onto his cheek burning against his skin, Jimin still was in a dystopia as Taehyung speaks again breaking through the sheets of silence

"I don't know how I was with you before... maybe I hurt you just like I did to others I'm not asking you to trust me nor to return my feelings I just wanted to let it out but I don't want this to add more distance between us I only want you to know that I won't ever hurt you... in any way"

and with that Taehyung broke the lock between their intertwined hands stepping back from Jimin, he glanced at him one last time exhaling a deep breath before he walks away leaving the frozen stonecold Jimin in the abyss of his dark thoughts surrounded by the tall walls he created around him in protection from another heartbreak

the knees that were holding onto his weight couldn't hold the heaviness of his heart any longer they buckle back making him fall on the ground that witnessed history repeating itself but with a different picture, the dam around the pure river was broken by the pain brought back to the little boy who was dying to end this eternal misery he brought to himself  

no matter how fast he runs from the other he couldn't succeed in adding much distance between their hearts that beat in the same rhythm, even if he burnt his soul to ashes he couldn't break the connection it had with the ravenette, regardless of him walking with a sword up his sleeves to cut off any string attaching him to anyone the blade isn't sharp enough to cut the red string of fate that was tieing him with Taehyung 

his mind was throwing the stones of remorse and anguish toward him wounding his already diseased body, if he never approached Taehyung that night at the rooftop maybe that wouldn't happen but how could he ignore him when he ought to ease all his pain, he buried his mouth in the heel of his palm silencing the rumbling sobs as aching of his chest rises everything was too much for him to handle he was fighting the war of right and wrong, love and hate, peace was long gone from his life leaving nothing but endless nights of battle he fights with himself
