Rani watched the sunrise with a smile. Her mother, Ananda sat next to her. "Enjoying the morning?" Ananda asked. "Yea," Rani replied.
"Rani, I have something to tell you," Ananda said. "What mom?" Rani asked. "Your father and I have decided that it would be best to betroth you," Ananda replied.
Rani stared at her mom in utter shock, "What!" "Yes. Isn't this exciting?" Ananda asked with a smile. "No it's not!" Rani shouted.
"C'mon Rani. You get to chose between the oldest sons from all the kingdoms. Well, except Kion. He is leader of the Lion Guard, so he can definitely prove his worth," Ananda explained.
"Why are you doing this to me!" Rani shouted. "I'm trying to help you," Ananda replied. Rani rolled her eyes.
"The kingdoms will be here in 3 days. You will get to pick the competitions they compete in to see who is worthy enough for you," Ananda smiled.
