I killed him

Flashback: Rose POV

"Can I come sleep with you?" I ask hesitantly

He seems reluctant at first. He nods anyway.

"What is that?" I ask hearing the loud sounds coming from downstairs

Instead of answering, he gets up from the bed and reaches for something on the bedside table.

"Here, put these on" he puts something over my ears

"They're headphones, they play music" he tells me and I nod

"What are you doing?" I ask seeing him do something on his phone

And then all of a sudden, the sound of loud music plays in my ears.

"Do you want to listen too?" I ask him

"It's okay, I don't need it" he gives me a weak smile

He holds out his arm to turn off the bed side light, his sleeve rolls up a bit.

"What is that?" I ask rolling his sleeves up, pointing to the marks all over his arms

He pulls his arm away harshly and rolls his sleeves back down.

"I fell" he says and turns off the lights

"Oh"

We lay in silence for a bit.

"Grey?" I ask

"Yeah"

"What are the sounds really?"

He stays quiet for a moment "Ghosts"

"Ok" I say

Another Flashback: Axel POV

"Greyson?" I ask as I walk into his room

"Have you seen my-" I stop myself instantly when seeing him

He sat on the edge of his bed, holding a dagger with trembling, bloodied fingers.

His under eye circles made him look so tired...

When was the last time he slept?

His face was wet as if he's been crying.

His face seemed paler than usual.

"Hey, are you okay?" I ask

He shakes his head frantically "I couldn't kill him, Axe" he breathes out "I tried to and I couldn't. I'm a coward. I'm such a coward"

I walk over to his bed, and sat next to him.

"Hey...that does not make you a coward. In all honesty I wouldn't be able to kill him either. Besides we'll save his death for a better moment" I say

"Y-you don't understand...what he did to me today. H-he...Axe how do I make it all stop?"

He's shaking.

And he looks as if he's about to cry.

He never does that.

"He-he made me kill again, I killed her Axe, I'm a murderer" I say

"Who? Who did you kill?"

"I don't know, I killed her with my bare hands. And you want to know the worst part? I didn't hate it. I know, I know. I'm a monster Axel, he's broken me. He's destroyed me" he says
