Chapter 22

"Jesus fuck" I heard manik mumble when I stepped out causing me to look up

"You look beautiful Nandini" both cabir and arun said

"Thank you"

"Mumma so pretty" misha said with chocolate around the corner of her mouth

"Thank you baby"

my whole body shuddered when my eyes met manik's, his eyes darkened as his eyes raked my body

"Mhmm umm misha let me do your hair" I siad

She got off the couch walking to me. I took her in the room and cleaned her face again. I did her hair and she didn't wanna sit after she had her sandals on so she ran out of the room

I grabbed my phone and turned around to bang into manik's chest

"Im sorry" I whispered touching his shirt to see if I got any of my makeup on him

"You are so freaking beautiful, beyond this world nandini. You are gorgeous" he says against my head as he kissed my forehead

I closed my eyes feeling his lips on my head, its so peaceful

"Thank you" I whispered

"Im sorry if I got makeup on you" I said trying to see if I got any on his shirt

"You didn't darling" he said pulling me closer

"Last moments being single, I hope you are enjoying it" I said

"Who said I'm single"

"I did"

"No ma'am, I am not single. I was taken the second my eyes met yours"

"Manik" I whispered looking down as the heat traveled to my cheeks

"You are my forever Nandini"

"Always and forever" I said kissing his cheek

"Misha is driving cabir crazy and I am loving every bit of it" he said chuckling

"This girl" I said pulling away

"Don't, let her be, I need to tell you something"

"Tell me what" I asked

"My mom passed away a long time ago, my dad got married again and I have a step sister. Not close to my family at all, I don't get along with them and they don't with me so that's all you need to know about me" he said

"Well then, I guess we are ready to get married" I said giggling

"You don't wanna ask anything" he asked

"Nope, you said you aren't close to them then thats fine, im assuming you don't want misha and I to see them"

"I don't mind you guys seeing them, I mean you probably will at some point right but they only want me for money so I don't really care much about them"

"Well then we are again them" I giggled making him smile

"Girl you are such a package" he kissed my head

"I love you" I whispered

"Me more babe" he said

We headed out with everyone in one car, bhai and arun were our witnesses since I didn't have any friends. We got to the courthouse and it didn't even take long, it took maybe 20 minutes for us to sign and stuff which would have taken less but misha got cranky

We signed everything and then manik and I got to the office while bhai and arun drove separately. we had just stepped into manik's cabin when misha started cribbing again
