(A/N I edited the part before so that Rimuru would not use thought acceleration in the imaginary space. Cuz that was making it way harder to write this part)

(Rimuru's Perspective)

I have been in the imaginary space for 1 year from my point of view

I was able to stay there with Ciel-san for so long due to slowing down the time inside the imaginary space

In this one year, in which I didn't sleep even once, Ciel-san hammered into me as much knowledge as she could

Spartan style, of course

I didn't say a thing nor complan to Ciel-san, because it was my decision to do this

I also didn't set a goal for how much knowledge I should accumulate

I left it up to Ciel-san

In other words, Ciel-san kept teaching me about her knowledge until she was satisfied

After learning so many things, I have begun to see the faults in my decisions in the past

If I wasn't so lucky, at the beginning, where Ciel-san was only Great Sage, I could have easily died, due to making reckless moves without thinking much

There were also many times in which my friends got hurt due to me hesitating and not thinking enough

Well, enough about that, lets talk about what I learned in this year

Firstly, I learned to read, speak and write this world's language

(The language of the Cardinal world looks like this. This picture is not mine. I found it here : https://jtaugusta06-sb-en.blogspot.com/2021/04/the-language-and-writing-system-in.html )

Previously, I left the translating to Ciel-san and never bothered to learn the language

Previously, I left the translating to Ciel-san and never bothered to learn the language

However, that wouldn't cut it now

I had to learn how to speak the language myself, in order to communicate with people when Ciel-san was not in my mind

I didn't need to learn how listen in conversations, since the Magic Perception of my Universal Perception skill always translated the word's intent so that I could understand it

Writing the language was surprisingly easy, since the language was English but with a different alphabet, and because I had been taught the alphabet by the unlucky trio of adventurers before I went to the Kingdom of Ingrassia

The hardest part, however, was speaking. Or at least I thought it would be

I never really learned English back on Earth, you see

Because the pronunciation was so different from Japanese, my tongue would not cooperate most of the time

For some reason however, I was able to learn to speak the language surprisingly fast
