Inside the gusu village in one room wangji was still sleeping but bird's chirping wakes him up. He get ready and went towards the dining hall. Here everyone eats together while discussing problems or sometimes having fun conversations. Wangji loves to meet new people. He is very playful and does lots of mischief.

He entered the dining hall and sat beside his brother lan xichen. They all were eating while talking. Suddenly a messenger entered the hall and said something to lan qiren. Qiren looked at others and said "we need to go to yiling kingdom to cure king wei feng mian's daughter wei yanli."
Wangji looked at his father and said "Father i also want to come with you." with bright eyes.
Lan qiren was worried about lan wangji's safety so he was denying. But then looking at his son's sulking pouty face he just agreed and said "You always have to be around us and take your medicines. You are not allowed to do any mischief!"
Lan wangji pouted then smiled and said "okay."
"We will first go to qishan sect as i have to give some herbs to king wen ruohan. Then we will leave for yiling." said lan qiren.
Lan qiren, lan wangji and lan xichen leave gusu and went towards qishan.
