CHAPTER 38

Nag-ayos na ako kahit 12 pm pa lang naman. It's okay mabagal naman ako pagnag-aayus sa sarili.

Wearing white tube, apple green thin cardigan and high waisted jeans plus white pointed shoes. It's just a simple ayoko naman mag stand out in the crowd. I did a light makeup and just ironed my straight hair. I took my chanel white hand bag before going out my room.

Nilagyan ko muna ng mga pagkain ang bowl ng dalawa kung pusa, bago umalis. I make sure, I didn't left something that can hurt them. I kissed them and left.

I glance at my watch and it's 2pm. Wow it took me an hour to change, huh. Dahil may isang oras pa naman ako ay pumunta muna ako sa starbucks para bumili ng drink.

I went to the mall, to buy something I don't really like just to waste my time. Ayoko maghintay kay Jiro, sa cafe na 'yon. Let him wait.

I don't really hate Jiro. After what happened to us years ago, I don't blame him fire everything, I don't hate him. Because I understand. It's hard for him too, because Khyro has been his best friend for so long. But we lost contact after my phone lost.

Five minutes na lang bago mag 3pm kaya umalis na ako para pumunta sa cafe na sinasabi niya. He texted me that he was already there, so I told him I'm on my way.

Few minutes I got in the place, I park my car infront of the shop and put my mask on and shade hoping no one notice me. Nakita ko agad si Jiro kahit nasa labas pa ako, wearing corporate suit, he look dashing and mature now. His playing with his phone didn't even notice every woman in the shop are eye raping him.

Lumapas ba ako sa sasakyan but before I go in I texted him that I'm infront of the shop. Pumasok ako kunwaring may hinahap, then I took my phone and called him. I'm such a good actress.

"Hello, Atty. I'm already here." I said after he answered the call. He didn't reply and it's odd so I looked at the phone and his still there pa naman.

I looked around, kunwaring may tinitignan pero gusto ko lang talaga makita bakit hindi siya sumagot. I saw him jaw dropped while looking at me. Fuck no, did he already know it's me? Magkukunwari pa ako eh.

Tumikhim ako at nilagay ulit ang cellphone sa tenga. "Attorney?" I asked softly.

"A-Angela..." I stilled for a second when he mentioned my name. It's sound so sad. Nakamask ako at nakashade, bakit alam niya agad?

"Uhm... Yes it's my name. May I know where you are?" I asked again before ordering something.

"Nasa kanan ako, nakasuit at may cellphone na hawak, nakatingin sayo." Malamig niyang sagot. I gulped unconsciously and look around for a hundred times.

The moment our eyes met I stopped he was looking at me intently. I have to thank the lady for calling me.

I took my order and went to his side. He stood and I don't fucking know what to do anymore.

"Are you Attorney Chua?" I asked innocently. He pulled a chair for me before going back to his sit.

"Yes, I am. And you most be Atty. Fernandez best friend?" He replied deeply. I nodded and took off all the thing that's covering my face.

He chuckled lowly, like he was already expecting what he was seeing right.

"Long time no see, sweetheart." He said sexily. I crossed my arms and look at him blankly.

"I'm sorry do I know you? Are kinda weird." I said frankly. Lie. Lair.

His body froze for a second pero agad naman siya natauhan at tumawa ng malakas. He shook his head na parang hindi makapaniwala sa sinabi ko.
