SEDUCING THE DEVIL

CHAPTER 35

Hindi ako sumama sa kanila papunta sa airport dahil alam kung hindi ko kayang makita siyang umalis. Napapagod na akong umiyak. Hanggang sa labas lang ako nang hospital at hindi na sumunod pa.

Ate Krissa and Tito Ortiz hugged saying goodbye and promise me to come back. Khyro's mom smiled at me before entering the car. Sa chopper sinakay si Khyro at nauna sila kanina pa kasama si sila Jiro.

I sighed and pursed my lips before entering the car para umuwi. Nakarating ako sa bahay ay gabi na, I stared painfully at the bunch of galaxy roses on my table and the guitar I took from his condominium.

Ang mga photo album namin ay nasa condo niya. I can't go back there without thinking are memories together, I can't go there without hurting. I don't want feel this pain anymore, Khyro is fighting for his life so I have to be strong and wait for him.

I tried to continue my life while Jiro keep updating me about Khyro's condition. It's been three months at hindi parin siya nagising.

I enrolled in League University I took tourism, si Avi naman ay sa Vegas, kung saan ako nagaaral.

Pinilit akong pinapasok ni Wendy sa workshop para sa training ko as a model, everyday akong sa workshops and I say it's a blessing in disguise dahil makakalimutan ko minsan si Khyro at nawawala ang lungkot ko kahit panandalian lang.

I miss him so much. I miss his warm hug. I miss his kisses. I miss everything about him. I miss his deep voice. I miss his chuckled. I think I'm going insane.

Things change so much. Hindi pa bumabalik sila Jiro dito sa pinas at sa ibang bansa na pinagpatuloy ang law school nila. I've been cold to everyone, and Birkina start keeping distance with Timmy. I got sad  because he's been a friend but I don't like pistering someone who distance with me without any reason.

I got a mission again but this time it's different. It's not a solo anymore. I took it. For me to stop thinking about him because it's been 7 months and Jiro said his still asleep.

One night Jiro called and I didn't imagine it will make my world crumble. It will break my heart into pieces.

"Angela nagising na daw si Khyro! Puta! Nasa hospital na kami ngayon." Tarantang sabi ni Jiro sakin.  I quickly stood up from sitting on the bed. My mouth parted. Kumabog ng mabilis ang tibok ng puso ko sa balitang narinig.

I waited a few minutes until Jiro called the man I've been missing for. My heart thumped, excited to hear his voice again.

"Khyro..." Nangiiyak na bangit ni Jiro. I could hear Ate Krissa and his mother sobbing. I gasped and cover my mouth using  my palm.

His eye transplant was successful and after he wake up ang benda sa mata niya ay kukunin na. And now his awake. Thank God.

"Jiro?" I gasped the moment I heard his husky and baritone voice. My heard thumped in happiness.

"Fuck." Jiro cursed.

"Gago ang tagal mo gumising, iyakin pa naman ang jowa mo." pagbibiro ni Jiro. I heard Ate Krissa laughed and the others. I chuckled sadly and bit my lower lip.

I was happy that his finally awake but for a second Khyro's words breaks my heart badly.

"What? I don't have a girlfriend, dumbass." malamig niyang sabi.

Para akong binuhusan ng malamig sa sinabi niya. Everyone in the room was silent. Didn't uttered a word while I'm here. Hurting. My chest hurts so bad and my eyes started to watered.

He doesn't remember me?

"Khyro what–" Ate Krissa words was cutted by her own mother.

"Let him rest. I have to talk to the doctor. " Her mother stopped her using her strict voice.
