KAKUYA POV

Trey and I had been together for two months when I found out I was pregnant with our child. Rather than be supportive, he pissed and moaned about how he pulled out and how I was "too old" to have anymore kids. I don't care what he says, but I'm going to have this baby. We spent the first five months of my pregnancy breaking up and getting back together. Because he's so high-profile, the press know about our relationship and even dubbed us "Kakrey". They're such trolls, I swear. When I was seven months along, Trey decided that he wanted to be a man and be there for us. Mumma April felt some type of way about me dating her son, but eventually came to accept it.

I had a baby girl, Jagoo Alise Neverson on February 6, 2010, my 40th birthday! When she was ten months old, I found out Trey cheated on me the night before my water broke. Who does that? A low-down, nasty cheating dog like Trey, that's who. So, I left him and moved us back to Charlotte. In public, he's sweet, charming, and nice. But when we're alone he's emotionally abusive and prone to explosive outbursts. He's basically a bully! I'm glad to be home again, especially since my folks live in the very same house two doors down from the DeGrates. I haven't seen DeVante in 15 years! Luckily, Dyana and I still keep in touch regarding him. She says that he's been struggling with drugs and alcoholism, and given the many pictures I've seen of him over the years, I believe it whole-heartedly.

Kasem, Jagoo and I moved to a nice apartment complex 15-20 minutes away from them. Trey doesn't see or call about his daughter and I'm not going to force him to either. For a "man" who didn't have a father in his own life, to do the same thing to your own child is heartbreaking AND disgusting.

Bossip.com posted some bullshit article titled "TREY SONGZ AND 40-YEAR-OLD BABY MAMA AT ODDS; SHE SAYS HE'S A DEADBEAT DAD." This shit is so far from the truth. What's worse, Trey believes this shit (even though he ought to know better) and is hella mad over it. He called me and sure enough, it went DOWN!!!

Me: What do you want, Tremaine?

Trey: You really gon' play me though for a check? Really?

Me: You know just as well as I do that shit is fradulent as they come, I can't believe you would be that gullible. You should be used to it by now. I've never once called you a deadbeat! I've never kept Jagoo from you, I have given you more than enough opportunity to be there for her, YOU made the choice not to because you're mad I wouldn't stay with you!

Trey: YOU MOVED AWAY TO BE WITH DEVANTE!!! How do you sound!? You won't let me see her! I don't even know nothing about my own baby. YOU TOOK MY CHILD FROM ME!!!

Hard of hearing, I swear on my life.

Me: DeVante doesn't even know about Jagoo. Second, I told your mother and your brother where I was and they've both come down here to see her. What are you doing outside the studio that you can't come and see your daughter? Sleeping with WHORES, maybe? If you were the man you think you are, you would put your child first no matter the relationship you have with me! You come see her, I'm not going to make you a father!

I hung up the phone and groaned in frustration!

Kasem: Mama?

Me: I'm fine, baby!

Kasem: Good.

My baby girl always knows how to make me smile, even when I'm at my absolute worst! I swear! That's why she's my right hand. We turned and looked at the door because we heard knocking.

Kasem: I'll get it!

She opened the door, and it was literally a blast from the past seeing that face....

Voice: Hey there!

I gasped and the next thing after that, I fainted!!!
