Gems of Nature

A beautifully sculptured art
A visual treat, a divine gift,
Nature, nature, mother nature,
Sing a song of your pretty creations.

Oh mankind, the Almighty made it,
She wept and whispered"Why are you hurting ",
The Same hands that nurture you,
Yes, they nurture they heal, the flora, the fauna,
They are gems, they are pearls,
They accord me colours.
Taking them along with roots,
Building a world of you?
How cruel, how nasty!
To rip them off, to kill them.

Greedy thoughts and brutal acts,
How long will this savagery exist,
The truth is a pity. You did graves for yourself,
In my lap, they too have a place.

Nature never breaks your heart,
Unless you breaks it,
Nature has music within,
Lend your ears blend in it's rhythm,
Let the greenery flourish,
Let the birds tweet,
Let the creatures live,
And let your humanity grow.

Nature Change Now Constant

In this World, Change is Constant,
It's law of the Nature!
Constant change turning against life,
Preponed much too early to activities of Man,
Going against the Nature!
Started biting, hitting Man, Flora, and Fauna!

Primarily, a lifestyle problem;
It's the change,
That may be obstreperous,
That need be contained,
That's changing the ecology,
Pollution, a new, 'constant change' now all over!

Scrutinize the change,
Nature nearly constant, stood the test of time;
For long, acceptable, and practicable;
Could it get so wild, a wilful curse?
The Power wielding effects of Man!
Influenced change, now no more constant!

Changing the course of river!
Action so adverse, calamitous;
Through obstructions, overflows;
Landslides, to cloud bursts;
Upsetting the ecology,
Destroying lives, a constant change, it's been!

An attempt to change Beas River's course,
Failed for good, checked in time;
Prevented a certain holocaust!
Future of man stays in jeopardy, out of control;
Innumerable mistakes, continue unchecked;
It's Man versus Man! Eternal conflict for dominance!
Check ongoing Wars with Nature at War!

Destruction and Survival interlocked,
Besieged with issues,
Fighting with his mind, no longer in hand;
Time to listen to mentor,
An urgent need to respond, in time;
Delay now against own survival!

Nature, dynamic, takes its call;
As man struggles to forge with concepts entangled,
Nature disembarks, concepts created;
Acts the only way it knows, works;
Follows its free will,
Live and let die! Formula it envisages!

In a flash, can flatten the life on Earth!
Brute force, Nature has, can reset those blameworthy!
Fate nearly sealed with follies,
The Nature is pushing its free will,
No distinctions it makes,
Time to learn to live and survive!

Intelligence to upstage it one last time,
Five mass extinctions been, sixth one on,
Nature brought him to life, the fifth time;
Grave danger to life with Sixth one on,
Confused, living with constant change;
Living on precariously, knows not of morrow!

Disruptive technologies, use no more;
It's time to realise mistakes,
Uproot them to survive, one last time;
Attempting to save the Nature,
Earnestly Pray for him to succeed!
Survival utmost important, for Change is Constant!
Now largely out of control!
NATURE CHANGE IS NOW CONSTANT!!!

Nature Within

Height of anger,
That began to boil,
That formed the fumes,
That kept going up,
Till go no more!
Lost its heat,
Formed the Clouds,
Collected high up,
Shows its power,
Began to roll!
Thunderbolt,
Lightening in Sky,
Huff and puff!
Flies with the wind,
To distant lands -
From sea to mountains -
Passes over the land,
With all its might!
Thunderbolt,
Blew its fuse,
Lightening in Sky!
Black and White!
Now off-steam!
Begins to cool,
Got so heavy,
Lost its power,
Grip got lose,
Can hold no more,
Changes its form!
Now, helpless and crying!
Water rolls down,
Showers so sharp,
Comes down fast!
All over the land,
With lots of streams,
Rivers now flowing,
Clouds that were there,
Nowhere to be seen,
Cloudless Skies,
From Black to Blue,
Life is now on a roll!
Parched lands are now wet,
All that's up,
Always comes down,
Distributes it even,
Nature's balancing act!

Was this all within!
Up within the mind,
Attributed to Nature!
Red eyes, furious, in anger;
Its flow, cleanses it all,
Fluttering no more!
Life on a roll!
Reflects, The Nature Within!

Nature's Sight

Strands of windswept hair
Tangled by moving air
Which passes over green vales
And roams beneath shady canopies
It roars with the river and though dales
And soars among cotton seeds.

Several hues of red and blue
Mixing together without clue
As the sun rises on the other side
Colours of the spectrum combine and glide
Delusional shades and tints diverse
Taking over me with the magical curse.

Aroma of the dewy Earth
Smells of hope and revival
It gives the farms of new birth
Rained on farms of survival.

I stare without blinking
At the fields, the rain and sky
I can't describe what I'm thinking
Perfect comprehension is a lie
And I wish I had more words to write
But I'm lost in nature's sight.

Nascent Dawn!

The early morning mist
Cast a pale wash
Over the scene entire
As the nascent dawn
Stained the realm
In a lilac haze.
While patchwork fields
Sparkled with dew
Studded the land
With myriad diamond lights
Which caught the sublime glory
Bestowed by the rising orb of day.
Light from the dawning sky
It's ray of crimson hue.
Filtered through the mists
Afloat in the early morn
Where shadows of night
Lingered awhile at horizon
When darkness escapes from a vaulted ceiling
Gracing the celestial welkin
There we welcome a new day.

Going Green

"Going green", the buzz phrase
Bustling away far and near
Is it an abused phrase?
Is it voicing nature's pain?

Green or blue?
Which is the color of mother earth?
Lush green forests breathe air into our planet
Blue drenches the thirst of living beings infinite

Green or blue?
Does nature only have two colors?
Or is there a huge canvas,
Painted by nature's hues?

Brown is the turf we stand and rest upon
Gray is the ash we all someday become
Yellow is the sun, the raison d'être
The black night, helps us sleep tight

Bright is the morning light
Our chance to make things right
Leave a better world
Light up our kids' lives.

Let it Blow

When the wind blows,
Things from the table fall down,
People in their galleries act as clown,
Letting the doors shutter so loud,
Children enjoy seeing the moving cloud,
Turning the crinkly pages so fast,
Taking a deep breathe as if it's my last,
Boards near the window fall so hard,
My sister can't stop moving cards,
Let the wind blow,
Let things fall,
Oh! it's a spring evening,
Let me enjoy it all.

Nature Walk

Strolling down the lonely woods
Dappled sunshine my sole companion
Solitude as my natural book
I Enjoyed that cool breeze

Midway I was greeted with
Warmth and beauty of nature
Her invisible paint brush and
The perfect strokes drawn by her

Her palette full of autumn colours
Delightful crimson danglers
with a drop of dew and sunlight
Lucky daises basking in full delight

Daffodils so proud and tall
Pure white Snowdrops were
Perfect harbinger of spring
Dancing merrily with the wind

Fragrant dancing blooming hyacinth
Rows of petals nice and neat
Shorter crocus taller tulips
Bluebells carpeting the forest floor

The myriad colours of spring flowers
And the lovely leafy path of joy
How I want to quench my thirst
By drenching in this riot of colours.

Naughty Sunshine

Is the sunshine naughty today?
Why then tickling, teasing, cuddling me every way?
There is greenery,
water silvery
And a castle deserted
But falling on them, not enough glad.

It found out me
And made me its prey.
Forced me to click a selfie,
Just to stay with me.

When its aim is done,
It vanishes suddenly.
No peeping, clinging or leaning anyway?
Leaving some golden radiance on my senses
Beyond the west far away
It goes down quickly.
How naughty! How naughty!

Silver Tounge

The bench is alone in the park.
There is nothing to do
Except to reminisce about Autumn and Spring,
Your benevolent presence was enough
In the permafrost mind.
Now the snowfall and hailstorm are planning for the last supper.
But you will still quake,
Your knees will still buckle,
Your eyes will still flood.
Even before tree leaves must fall,
Before it blooms again in Spring.
And if I have learned anything
It is this!
Now, I am stronger,
My shoulders are iron,
My tongue is silver.
I can speak honey to the suffering,
Because I am fluent in their language.
