Dear Failure,
As I climb this mountain called life
You cause me a great deal of strife
Just as I grasp the bar of success
You drag me down with all the excess
All of those you victimize
Live their lives in your demise
I struggle to climb back to my throne
Even though I'll be alone
It's better than your embrace
Which suffocates the heart of stone
And numbs the mind and the bone
Your sadistic voice calls from afar
Luring me farther from the bar
Success seems so close at hand
But then I feel your awful brand
Worst than anger or depression
This letter to you is my confession
I bid you leave me live my life
And stop creating all this strife
I hope you reply
Before we rot
Before we die
