Lucas' POV

I walk down the hall,

dazed in thought,

what had just happened?

Let's establish the facts,

Maya Hart just kissed me? "yes" I answer,

did I like it?

The thing that is troubling me most is, the fact that, no I didn't.

I just expected more, I mean Maya is sweet and all, and is amazing to be around, but she's not really what I expected.

I believed in something magical, and that was not what I expected.

My head throbs, I'm so confused.

I stumble around the corner but freeze when I hear Riley's voice,

"Mom I really can't do this anymore", Riley is speaking to her mother I peek around the corner, she's speaking to Topanga on the phone,

"No, I know that but" she stutters,

"I - I just, I don't even have any, fr-friends any- " she pauses taking a deep breath,

"Any frien- friends any mo- m-more" I look at her, she's sobbing immensely and I don't know whether I should go up to her or not.

"Mom stop, I really really-"

What could she possibly be so upset about,

she brings her arms to rest against the locker and rests her head ontop, I take this as my opportunity,

"Riley?" I ask,

she doesn't turn around,

"Riley?" I ask again in hopes she isn't ignoring me,

"Riley do you wan't to talk?" I say coming closer to the side of her,

she turns around.

"Talk about what" she says, sniffling hard and uncontrollably,
