That's what happened a while ago. . .

I'm inside of a book. . . where the main character, is Sherlock Holmes.

Sherlock Holmes, yes that Sherlock. The known detective who's obsessed in solving cases. He became known and because of that, he had different kinds of fan fiction and stories.

And yes again, this is one of those. He's not the original 'Sherlock Holmes' written by Conan Doyle himself. This story was inspired by him, and he's the main character. The author was obsessed with Sherlock that she made a story of him.

Hindi naiiba ang bersyon niya kay Sherlock kumpara sa original, but the thing is, she really showed how obsessed she is with him. In her story, Sherlock is too. . . handsome!

She literally made the book to show how much she loves him! It made young adult women love her book!

And honestly. . . it's also the reason why I started reading this.

Now, I'm in this situation. I want to bite my lower lip while thinking of it. But still, I maintained my expression while looking at the man in front of me.

A six-footer man with an ottermode body type. A slightly long jet black wavy hair. Lips that has a color of raspberries, eyes dark gray like a stone. Wearing a black suit. He also smells like cigarette.

Indeed, this is how Sherlock Holmes was described in the book.

But the author added something on her version of Sherlock Holmes. . . it's the cross tattoo on his throat, surrounded by roses.

"Lady Harlotte, are you doing well?" he asked.

I showed a weak smile. "Not at all, Sir Holmes." I breathe heavily as possible. "I-I still-"

"There's no need for you to push yourself, Lady Harlotte," pagputol ni Sherlock sa akin. "You should focus on recovering first," aniya.

"I'm sorry that I can't help you, I'll try my best to remember." I bowed. "Then, I'll take my leave first."

"I hope you can find my sister, Sir Holmes."

I didn't look back nor falter. I walked without changing my pace, I went straight upstairs to my room.

I took a deep breath.

I know he's looking at me, he's watching me.

I went in front of a full body mirror to see myself.

I touched my face. . .

A long curly brunette hair, braided. I'm wearing a red polonaise dress paired with red Victorian boots inside. I'm also wearing golden earrings ang bracelets. I smell like vanilla, with a hint of woody scent.

I knew who I am as soon as I saw myself in the mirror earlier. Of course, how can I don't know her, her illustrations are all over the internet!

This is how Harlotte Ezra Adelaide looks like.

She's the character I became here in this book, entitled, the twisted fate of the Twins.

A well known book in my world. She disappeared after an accident, with me. No one saw her, no one knows where she went—she just disappeared.

That is why Sherlock took the case. There was no coachman, he disappeared the same time the horses lost control. It was only me and Hilian, so I'm the only witness he have.

But the things is, after the accident. . . Harlotte had problems with her memories.

Which kind of suspicious for Sherlock, even for me. But I don't have enough proof and I don't know what really happened.

Since I didn't finish the book.

This story is in Victorian Era setting. Harlotte's father is a governor, appointed by the queen.

I really should've finished the book. I don't even know if Hilian is still alive, or Harlotte—me, lived!

I took a deep breath to calm myself. It's a good thing that I got transmigrated here after the accident, since I really have no memories of being here.

I looked at myself in the mirror. I don't know how this happened, I didn't even know that this is real—I didn't know this is possible. I also don't know what happened to my real body in my world.

If I died. . . or I'm just in a deep, deep, slumber.

Napaisip ako nang malalim. Does that person that I met before I came here did this? But why?

If that person is the mastermind behind all of this, there's a chance that I'll meet them here. . . right?

Humigpit ang pagkakasara ng kamao ko. I must know the reason why that person did this, and how.

I need to gather information. . . by being a character in this book.

I'm Harlotte Ezra Adelaide, a side character, a witness, and also a suspect of the disappearance of her twin sister, Hilian Eliza Adelaide.

I need to finish this book and survive, and also know why I'm here and if I can still go back.

Tho, as far as I can remember, Harlotte have green eyes. . . yet, I have gold.

Or, I just remembered it wrong?

I sighed. There I found an empty journal and a fountain pen.

I should write the things that I remember.

Actually, the thing that I'm a witness is not the only reason why Sherlock has his eyes on me—Harlotte.

Later on in the book, he'll learn that Harlotte Ezra Adelaide is special. She has a sixth sense, a psychic ability.

She has psychometry . . . or the ability to obtain information about a person or an object by touch.
