Liza's POV

"Hmm..." I hum to myself as I look into the mirror in front of me.

"Why are you taking so much time?" I hear Riana's muffled voice coming from behind the doors. Ah, let me specify it for you—closet doors.

"Let me out!" Riana shouted, making my eardrums almost get damaged.

"Geez, you produce too much noise pollution."

"W-what?!?! " She shouted in a high-pitched voice as if she had seen a ghost.

"Ah, too loud, too loud, shut your trap," I spoke in my low voice.

" It's your fault for locking me in here, I will shout! " Riana spoke with confidence.

I smirked, letting out a " hehe" sound. "Who's at fault?" I ask her.

" Fine, I'm sorry. You're going on a date so I just wanted to help you. "

" Ah, apology... rejected."

" You bi**h! "

" Like I never knew. "

Riana goes silent for a moment.

" What about moving in with Aida? " Riana asked me in a low tone as if she was hesitating to speak upon this topic.

"What about it?" I asked her as I rubbed my hands against my skirt.

"What about you guys dating?" Riana spoke again in the same tone but a careful one.

I froze.

I looked down and I could feel my mood changing for the worse.

"He never meant it... So it wouldn't affect him," I said smiling. A drop fell on the ground, and another, and another.

I moved my hands to my eyes. "Wh-" I could see that my vision had gone blurry.

"What is this?" I spoke to myself in a low voice.

"What is what? " Riana asked curiously.

I stayed silent, as I didn't want her to know my weak side. I didn't want to be looked down upon by anyone.

The door slid open. I looked in the direction of the door.

"Liza"

I walked out immediately pushing the person away.

"Liza, wait!"

"Leave me alone, Aida!" I spoke as I left the house.

And that's how I escaped death.

I ran as fast as possible and eventually stopped after my legs gave up. I stood tall and looked up. After looking at the blue sky for a few seconds, I rubbed the tears away from my face and looked sideways.

My eyes met a beautiful one.

"Is this me?!" I asked myself. I looked flustered. My cheeks were flushing red as if I had just run a marathon. Well, I did but not a marathon. But even so, it's a big deal for a person like me to run.

I knew what the reason behind it all was, but I wasn't ready to accept it. I grabbed my skirt tighter. Not yet. Not now.

A powerful impact. He saw me crying. Now he probably thinks of me as a weak person.
