Chapter 8: Here comes the one

He took her hands and put them in his warm pocket. Liza froze but was pulled by Aida who had already started walking. It took some time for Liza to analyze it but Aida was walking slow, to match Liza's pace.

Well, well, this ain't so bad.

"Why?" Liza asked with a little curiosity. She couldn't help but put those words out of her throat, and as she did, she felt relieved. Aida stopped and withdrew his hands, giving Liza the idea that he had taken it the wrong way.

She quickly grabbed his withdrawing hand and grabbed them tightly with no intention of letting go. Aida was startled and seeing his reaction Liza looked the other way. "They're warm..." She tried to expand her thoughts but only these felt appropriate enough to her.

Aida chuckled and Liza quickly let go. "I was not doing what you think..." Aida spoke while laughing as he took out his smartphone and pulled out something, "...here, dad sent me this."

Liza understood the situation completely. 

So he was ordered to do it by his father. 

This was a little embarrassing for her, though, somewhere she wished he did it of his own free will. Liza turned her head with a jerk and crossed her arms making a small 'hmph' sound. 

"OK~ Don't me mad," Aida patted Liza's head and grabbed her hand as he proceeded to walk. 

Liza was startled but she felt comforted by his actions. Maybe she was feeling a little strange today.

Kyun encountered the girl again today. He wondered who it was as he approached her. "Who are you?" He stood confidently in front of her with his back straight.

"Liza Cistle..." Liza answered with a confused look. Kyun nodded and turned around to leave. "Hey!" Liza suddenly called out to him. "I'm sorry for that day... I scratched you, but if you try to annoy me in my sleep again, you're dead," Liza claimed with a fierce look.

Aida who had gone to buy Liza a drink saw her 'girlfriend' talk to a boy. He felt jealous. He looked to the side and scoffed. He ran his hand through his hair and approached Liza. "Don't!" He ordered grabbing everyone's attention.

He sat next to Liza with the drinks still in his hands. This was the time, the time of confession—Aida felt like he had to come across his real feeling now. 

While Aida was blabbering something to himself, Liza was lost in her thoughts.

5 more days until she arrives.

When Liza finally got distracted from her thoughts, she could see the cute-looking red-faced Aida who was looking down.

"A-i-da Yamamoto?" She spoke hesitantly. She got no response though. She placed her hand on Aida's forehead making the other flustered more. He looked up with his puppy eyes, "You weren't listening~" He cried as he shifted more towards Liza for comfort.

Liza hesitantly hugged him and patted the puppy's back, "I'm sorry," she apologized with a warm voice.

He's just like a puppy.

It had been a few days and Liza and Aida had progressed just so much as the first day. Aida had made up his mind to find his true feeling about Liza, while Liza was getting used to Aida around her the whole day.

It's the D-day.

The day Liza had desperately counted for was finally here.

Liza walks hand in hand with Aida but withdraws it as soon as the school was in her sight. She sees Kyun who was coming from the other way. Kyun stops, "Good morning...I'm Kyun Mic," Kyun greets both Liza and Aida, with no idea who was the other person standing next to Liza.

"Oh, Morn'..." Liza greets and proceeds normally with her turtle-like speed. Kyun had his mouth wide open. Aida saw his reaction and said, "Don't mind, she's always this ignorant."

"Is she? Sounds like you know her a lot," Kyun asks curiously in a way that wasn't suspicious.

"No, not really, we've known each other for a week or so," Aida walks alongside Kyun who was listening to him carefully.

"Kyun?" Someone calls from the back leading both the man walking alongside stopping and turning around.

Kyun stares at the girl for a while and puts forwards his guess, "Riana?"

Riana nods and they both hug each other. 

Here comes the one who was loved by Kyun and loved even more by Aida, the villain.

Liza who was observing from a distance could not help but keep her eyes locked on Aida's reaction. 

For a moment then, as she saw Aida look at the girl for a longer period as if he had fallen in love or he just couldn't help but look, Liza's heart skipped a beat.

Liza was not ignorant of her feeling nor she was delusional. She could easily accept what she wanted and what she didn't. Beating around the bush was not her thing—it consumed a lot of energy.

Damn me! Why do I realize it now?
