Luke: You stay with the group.
Nick: I'm fine Luke.
Carlos: I don't like this.
Luke: Yea well when's the last time you liked anything Carlos?
Nick: If something happens I'll cover you.
Luke: I already got two people covering me. They need people to cover these guys back here.
Luke notices where quite a bit away, so he runs to catch up.
Meanwhile Luke is catching up me and Boozer have been having a nice conversation about pre-outbreak.
Boozer: What is the one cartoon your gonna miss seeing?
Clem: If you where alive all this time pre-outbreak you should know what it is.
Boozer: Don't tell me it's the fucking dancing and singing vegetables cartoon nobodys kid would ever shut up about?
Clem: Yup. Disco Broccoli.
Boozer: Never understood why kids liked that shit.
Clem: Well it did get most kids in my generation to eat more vegetables. I started liking vegetables the more I kept watching it. And it was entertaining.
Boozer: Well I guess something good came out of that corny ass cartoon.
We sit in silence for a moment.
Clem: ....... Was that a pun?
Boozer: No.....
Clem: When did you make puns?
Boozer: I said no dumbass.
I look away for a moment then look back at him with a smirk on my face.
Clem: I know.
Boozer couldn't help but laugh a little bit at my joke.
Boozer: Your a funny kid. Uhh not to sound rude but, how old are you?
Clem: I never understood why that's such a rude question to say. But I am 11.
Boozer: And your more mature then most of these adults here. That's a rare find in a kid your age. You'll be here a long time if you keep up that persona.
Clem: Thanks Boozer. Your a cool guy.
Boozer: Oh I know I'm cool. It's Deek who won't admit it.
Clem: What's your partner like?
Boozer: He's just as nice as me only he has certain principles that he always upholds from time to time.
Clem: And those principles are.
Boozer: Never shoot an unarmed woman unless you have to, us being drifters we collect bounties. Any person he finds out that shot and unarmed woman he hunts down and takes care of them.
I nod listening taking in every word.
Boozer: Another principle is help those who cannot help themselves. Other bounties are rescue missions to have people who have been captured by Raiders, or Marauder, or Rippers. Hell even if their trap by Freakers and they can't fight their way out.
Clem: Freakers?
Boozer: They look like freaks. So me and my partner call them that. What do you call them?
Clem: Walkers.
Boozer: They limp more then walk, but eh. Whatever works for you.
We continue walking as we hear running behind us. We look back to see Luke running up to us.
