Alessia

I hear the door to his room slowly open and I immediately feel the air shift, knowing it's him. I lay in his bed facing away from the door, pretending to be asleep. My mind hasn't shut off, replaying Antonio's words over and over in my head. It shouldn't bother me, but it does. I'm an assassin, and lately it doesn't seem like it. I need to work on my skill again. I need to get stronger. I need to get better.

The sound of the door closing a locking bring my attention back to Lorenzo. I hear him let out a sigh, which is quickly followed but the quiet rustle of his jacket. I open my eyes and see him opening the balcony door, a pack of cigarettes in his hand.

He's shirtless.

I shiver at the gust of cold air that enters the room, and pull his silk grey sheets tighter against my body. I sit up and lean against the headboard still looking his way. He leans over the balcony railing and moves his head back as he blows out the puff of smoke.

Tonight is one of the colder nights, which means he must be freezing. I wrap the sheet even tighter around me, pulling it off the bed as I make my way over to him.

He immediately knows it's me standing behind him, and he slightly tenses up. His back is shaded perfectly in the moonlight, causing his muscles to look more defined.

Mmm.

I wrap the sheet around the both of us, but immediately fail as it slides off his body with ease. This is unfair considering he's significantly taller. He turns to face me, a smirk playing at his face.

"You know it would be nice if you could help me" I say lightly, handing him part of the blanket.

"Come here" He replies quietly, taking the entire sheet off of me.

"Lorenzo it's freezing" I state, wrapping my arms around my body. He pulls me into his front by the waist, wresting his arms around me, wrapping the sheet around the both of us. He's very warm.

He rests his chin on top of my shoulder, leaning his head against mine. His arm around me tightens, and his fingers lightly trace over the base of my back, sending chills down my spine.

"You're quiet tonight" I say softly, breaking the comfortable silence. He lifts his head up while grabbing my face with his hand, and gently pushes me back against the railing.

I pull him closer to me, causing the sheet to fall off the both of us completely. Suddenly, the cold isn't affecting me anymore, considering how close Enzo is, causing heat to spread over my body. He leans forward, nearly resting his head on mine.

"Alessia" he says, dragging the back of his finger along my cheek, "have I ever told you how beautiful you look?"

I turn my head away, trying to hide my blush.
"What aren't you telling me Enzo" I say, holding back my smile. I drag my hand up his chest, "you can tell me what's wrong". I continue.

"Nothing love, nothing you have to worry about." He replies, now slowly kissing my neck. I let out a breath and lean my head back from the pleasure. I feel his smirk against my skin, his hands now making their way up and down the length of my back.
