I'M UNDESERVING...

A MISTAKE ?

“ Jiang Cheng!!”, wei wuxian jumps on Jiang Cheng from the back making the younger startled.

“ What are you doing? ”, Jiang Cheng removes wei wuxian from his back in a harsh tone . Wei wuxian blinks awkwardly pulling his hand back ,

“ Woah! You are so hyped early morning ”, smiles trying to ease the tension . Guilt hits Jiang Cheng,

“ Who..who told you to ran on my back like an idiot! Let's go ”,

Wei wuxian smiles and follow him , definitely not neglecting the factor that younger was quite tensed ,

“ He was fine yesterday but suddenly the mood change.... something is really off ”,

They walk together to the dinning hall , twin jades and juniors were already there ,

“ Greetings Sect Leader Jiang and Senior Wei ”,

Both nods to juniors and turns to twin jades , xichen was looking at Jiang Cheng with his usual warm smile but Jiang Cheng was looking at wei wuxian talking to wangji , xichen tried to call him ,

“ Wany....”,

“ Everyone is here let's eat then ! ”, cutting xichen's words he stormed towards his table , telling the servants to serve , xichen found it quite odd but ignored and went to take his table beside Jiang Cheng when he spoke ,

“ Jin ling come sit beside me ! ”,

“ But jiuj....”,

“ I don't want to repeat! ”, Jin ling frowns glancing at Sizhui, he walks and sit beside him. Xichen neglected that too and was going other side when he heard him again ,

“ Wei wuxian take a seat beside me !”,

Wei wuxian immediately sat beside him , this doesn't go unnoticed by certain someone, he looked to xichen who was equally confused,

“ Brother ”,

“ Let's take our seats wangji .”, xichen distracted questions in wangji eyes and took his seat beside him who was sitting next to wei wuxian. Breakfast went smoothly with wei wuxian's occasional talks and remarks , Zizhen and Jingyi's bickering and xichen's stealing glance at Jiang Cheng and younger ignoring him completely.

After breakfast , they decided to explore yunmeng market for real this time , and the same pattern of breakfast was repeating wei wuxian talking , zizhen and Jingyi bickering with the special appearance of Jin ling  , xichen trying to talk to wanyin while other didn't even spare a glance at older . They were at the dock now , wei wuxian, lan wangji , Jingyi , Sizhui and xichen on one boat and zizhen and Jin ling in one as Jin ling was dropping zizhen at bailing on his way towards Lanling . Wei wuxian hugs Jiang Cheng, he hugs him back ,

“ We will meet again after this week's all sects conference held in yunmeng . So don't miss me badly .”, wei wuxian said . 

“ Hah! Who's gonna miss you! ”, Jiang Cheng folds his arms . Wei wuxian laugh playfully hitting Jiang Cheng. Jiang Cheng turn to Jin ling ,

“ You better don't make me find you fooling around. Take things seriously and take care ”, Jin ling just nods and bows, bidding his bye as his boat started leaving the dock , soon wei wuxian was also on his boat , his boat too started leaving the dock .

Xichen eyes never leaving Jiang Cheng's , waiting for younger to atleast glance at him. After holding himself for the whole day Jiang Cheng finally let his eyes wander and they immediately searched for the black one and it was no shock for him when he found them already looking at him.  Older's eyes , which wanted to ask too many questions but he hold emptiness for those questions. Xichen couldn't tell what went wrong ? What actually happened? For some unknown reason he felt very strange to the expression Jiang Cheng was giving him. Jiang Cheng turned and walk away because he knew if he looked at the older any longer he won't be able to control himself from breaking down .
