Jason checked the time, it had already been more than four hours since he started this training instance of the game. He should probably call it quits and see what was going on back at the station.
But he was too interested in what the evolution chamber might offer. And he still hadn't made any headway on providing for his dragonets. He had to exhaust every opportunity or he ran out of energy. He had to do this for his dragons. It wasn't a maybe, it was a must.
Determined he walked over to the Zerg evolution chamber. Just like with the orc mound there were the expected options to upgrade armor and weapons.
In the same place unobtrusively placed, there was a line of text. Willing it to open for him he went under. A new menu opened up and then continued opening as the details grayed out as they were filled up three screens. The second and third were forcibly opened on their own he hadn't known that you could do that.
A prompt showed up directly in front of him.
[Evolve Zerg Geneticist: Y/N]
A smile appeared in his face. Immediately he willed the evolution chamber to take some drones for the evolution. Just like with the orc great hall he used the Zerg hatchling center to hatch as many new drones as it would allow. Then set the rally point to one of the mines.
The new geneticists quickly grew. In a matter of minutes he had four lady bug looking scientists. Except that they stood upright and their colors were different. Even between the four of them, their colors were strikingly different. Different shades of green were the most dominant color. But one was actually red and black like female lady bugs. It didn't have dots though. It had a swirls and geometric figures.
'That can't be natural. Do you have a way of determining your own coloring?'
The ladybug geneticist interrupted his thoughts.
"Master what do you wish to evolve?"
"Ah, well, hmm, you see, I need milk a lot of milk."
For some reason Jason was embarrassed to admit that he needed milk.
"Milk, master?"
The black and red scientist asked, trying to head off any misunderstandings. But another one of the scientists angrily spoke.
"We are not your butler! Go get your own milk!"
Realizing his mistake he back pedaled.
"No, no, I mean I need to feed three hundred dragonets. I, I, don't even know how to buy anything here. But, but, was thinking that..."
The red one stopped him.
"Oh, I see, no, you came to the right place. This will be a snap. We just need some appropriate DNA and then we will be able to evolve something for you. No, problem."
They talked among themselves for a bit, coming to an understanding.
"Alright, we have reached a consensus. We will preform this work."
"Ahh, good?"
He said even as he was rethinking his thought to use an evolved Zerg form to feed the dragons.
"We just need the DNA of the female dragon."
Jason could not imagine how hard it would be to find and then ask Azeroth for her genetic material.
"No, but, ah, I don't think the mother produces milk. You see? Evidently these dragons usually come out of the ear ready to eat meat and such."
The green and pink ladybug scientist who had challenged him before now spoke again. This time with a lot more humility.
