It wasn't a big cliff, maybe twenty to thirty feet high. Yes when he ran over it he fell among rocks in deep water. A broken arm and both of his legs in multiple places. A few of the spitters run off the cliff with him. Unfortunately the water seems to be anathema to them and they died a quick death.

The water washed off much of the acid, but now Jason wished he could die the aching pain was so great. He didn't know how long he floated there before he washed up on a shore. But no sooner had he finally relaxed in the sand halfway out of the water when he lost consciousness.

He woke up in his cube with Nicole shaking his shoulder. She was half in and half out with trying to wake him up.

"Wake up your lazy butt! Come on, come on, you got to go back in."

"Huuu, what? I died?"

"No shit Sherlock. Flip your switch, man. The rest of us are going back in to try mission #2. Everyone else thinks we should just forget about you. But, I know you, you are one of the best at this shit." Nicole earnestly pleaded with him.

"Nicole, forget that loser. We spawned all the way out on the border. I bet it was his fault!"

Jason couldn't see who was protesting so vehemently against him. He was so tired and he couldn't seem to get his brain in gear.

"Jason! Get flipped, now!" Nicole forcefully whispered to him.

"Alright, alright, I will flip or whatever you call it."

Jason opened his cube's control menu by his side and initiated the appropriate permissions to retry mission #1.

"There it is done."

Nichole scowled at him, "Fine, get back here quick!"

The darkness engulfed him for a time as the space station did its work. Jason wondered if Cecelia was paying attention and what she would think about him dying and losing his first mission.

"Wherever you are Cecelia, I hope things are going well for you!" Jason said out loud in the darkness.

Little did he know that Cecelia was tracking his every move. And she was extremely frustrated with his showing in the first mission.

"How hard could it be? All you have to do is find a freaking hero!" She said as she watched Jason's physical body materialize in the exact same spot as before.

It took him a few moments to gain his barring. It was not easy to come back from such a death.

This time there was no foot soldiers that showed up with him. But he immediately recognized the spot.

"Alright, so last time the two armies were scrimmaging over there." He crept into the trees and carefully found his way over only to find that neither of the two armies were there.

"What so wait, time progresses? I can't get a redo?"

He had laid out on the ground to peak over a rise some ten yards in front. Now that the situation had changed Jason wasn't in a hurry to run into anything. Without knowing where those two armies were it would be foolish to blindly move. He had to be cautious and sneak around lest something drastic happen like last time.

Which was why he leaped halfway to his feet when someone grabbed him by the arm from behind. A squeamish shriek also escaped from his lips.

Only to find that the same orc captain from yesterday had found him.

"I am sorry, sir. I didn't mean to cause any problems."

Quickly he shook his head and then put a finger to his lips.
